Hey, everyone,

I've just promoted Hexxit 1.0.9 to Latest. This is a minor version update over 1.0.8- QCraft and Artifice have both been updated, and QCraft has been configured to generate Quantum Ore in existing worlds.

If you're interested in helping test, back up your worlds (SSP or server) and set your launcher up to use the "Latest" build, or manually select version 1.0.9. Play with us and report issues in this thread!

The 1.0.9 server can be downloaded here: http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/hexxit/Hexxit_Server_v1.0.9.zip

Changelog for Hexxit 1.0.9 (changes since 1.0.7)-

- Added qCraft 1.0.1. New quantum ore generated at lower depths (even on existing maps). See www.qcraft.org for more info.

- Updated Better Storage to version 0.6.2.23-hotfix2.

- Updated Artifice to version 1.1.2.182.

Liquid metal buckets from TC crashes servers when placed. I placed some liquid metal down as decoration the other day, and caused the server to crash multiple times until I finally found out this was the cause and removed the liquid metal. This only happens when the metal is placed from the buckets.

Server owner shared this crash report for details: http://pastie.org/8423453

Lumber axes are still found in dungeon chests (primarily battle towers) as glitched, multicolor tiles. They crash clients when placed or used.

Did you turn off chunk load on request? I had the liquid error when I did that.
