You have to use the Mojang account, the one you got after buying the game Minecraft. Technic is not the game, it's just a modpack. The launcher goes through Mojang server to check if your Mojang account exist. If it does, and you have bought the game, then you can try using the email on the username field. We've gotten quite a few of these threads, and I don't think the kind of people that can't figure such things out are the kind of people that'd search the forums before posting, but perhaps a FAQ.
