I think you should remove the coremods folder you have in the mods folder to a completely different location. It's probably still reading them out of that folder, and finding duplicates of each mod/coremod.

.... Why would you move them? Just... Delete the .technic and .techniclauncher folders, and run things again. Don't forget to back up your world though.

The issue isn't completely duplicate entry's, its duplicate entry's but different version of said mods.

Rule of thumb, if you don't know what you broke after changing something, you probably shouldn't have been changing it.

Is the .technic folder the one that contains all the modpacks for the launcher, so will the launcher still work (ik the .techniclauncher folder is the old launcher)? Also, I have 0 tech knowledge, so I dont know how to use backups.

Just delete the .technic folder. Once you start the launcher it will detect you are missing that folder and redownload it.

As for backups, whichever modpack you have played, go to that modpack's folder and find a folder called "saves". You should find a savefile there that you have named for your special world. Copy + paste somewhere safe!

It might be because there are two of the same mods in Core mods and Mods or there are two of the same Mod in either one, Just delete .technic.BUT keep the servers file (i have a mac, but know some about PC's), the world file, and there modpacks file

If you don't want to delete the entire folder, then you can delete just the following items:

CoFHCore-1.5.1.5.jar

Galacticraft-1.5.1-a0.1.34.186.jar

immibis-microblocks-54.0.9.jar

[1.5.1]TreeCapitator.Forge.1.5.1.r01.uni.coremod.jar

If you delete those files, your tekkit should start up just fine.

I did that, but apparently my codechickencore is out of date-where can i download the newest version?
