Description of Problem:

Hexxit requires the Technical launcher.

Mojang explicitly tells the users NOT to use such launchers, and for good reason

(at https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/989614-choosing-a-good-password ): " Never use your password to log in to other websites or third party software (custom launchers or similar)!"

Hexxit should not make the Technical launcher mandatory, it should work with the normal launcher.

It's not mandatory. You just have to recreate the pack in the normal launcher. Add all the mods and configure everything correctly and you're in. If only someone else would have taken the time to do all that work for everyone. Oh yeah someone did. The Technic Team. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work!

It's never a good idea to give your password to a program/website you don't trust, but you can trust the Technic launcher. It hooks directly into mojang's login system and doesn't record your information in any way. If you don't belive us, the launcher is open source, so take a look at the code.

This is the whiniest post I have seen since the old days when people cried "givv us da old lunchers bak!!"

Why the hell do you even come in here if you don't like the technic launcher? The only people I have seen doing that are pirates.
