You use the same username and password on Technic launcher as you use when you log in through the vanilla launcher provided by Mojang.

Try Mojangs vanilla launcher, if you get an error through that then you are using the wrong username. Some users have reported that they needed to use their email instead.

Are you using your Technic account or the one you bought from Mojang?

If you're using your Technic account, use the one you got from Mojang.

If you're using your Mojang account, try using the email address you used when buying it instead of your username.

I came in late and may not have noticed your post

In any case, maybe there could be confusion and stating it a different way would help?

I know yesterday I was working with a guy to resolve what appeared to be him trying to use the Technic Launcher to download Tekkit and play it on the default Minecraft Launcher, but eventually enough repetition in different manners revealed that he had an actual bug (maybe, he didn't reply after I told him to check the common problems and solutions and the reports in the bug sections and and whatnot)
