T-Mobile broke my technic launcher

I can get on the internet but I can't download the newest CHECKSUM.md5 but it will download everything else fine. I've talked to T-Mobile about this and they don't know what going on. They said that I shouldn't be able to tether at all.

So my question is: Is there a way to get the CHECKSUM.md5 without downloading it through the launcher. I have tried making it use javaw.exe instead of java.exe like the Minecraft.exe does, but that didn't work.

Also is there a way to get the technic launcher to use the Minecraft.jar that I do have, legally, my friend bought it for me, so I'm not stealing minecraft I just want to screw over T-Mobile for there crappy service.

I really don't want to give T-Mobile more money each month like they want me to.

You'll need someone to upload the appropriate "CHECKSUM.md5" file to some filesharing site I guess, since that's not a vanilla file but part of the Technic launcher itself (it goes in ".techniclauncher/launcher/" apparently).

I've tried but the launcher will overwrite it every time and I get a webpage from T-Mobile and not the file

Okay, bro, i was really poor once too, so here's what you do:

Assuming you're on a laptop, bring your comp to the library.

if you're on a desktop, take a usb device that has storage (your phone will work for this if you don't have a thumb drive) and download it there, and put it on your device.

well for some reason it works now but i'm getting a download failed on all mod packs
