Any way to keep your buffs after death?

So on the Attack of the B-Team server that Bdubs and Genny play on, they don't lose their genes/buffs when they die. I wanted to know how to do this for my singleplayer world, if at all possible. I'm tired of having to redo the process every time I die. Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I thought they did lose their buffs upon dying, and just kept backup genes at the ready.

No because Bdubs died to the Wither and right after that he flew to go get his stuff. (He wasn't morphed as a bat)

You can get a syringe and fill it with your buffed blood, centrifuge it, and keep it in storage to use if you die! I always have at least 6 syringes full of my beast blood ready to go if worst comes to worst.

You shouldn't lose your genes when you die as far as I know, but yeah, centrifuge some spares just in case.
