Why can't i see the molten ore in my smeltery?

Sorry, but I am rather new to the forums and I can't figure out how to post an image.

Here are the steps I took:

1. Start my AOTBT server like normal

2. join on localhost

3. place ore in the smeltery (or there's so in there)

4. Once its done I look in, and no molten ore (I can pour out the correct amount of molten ore)

 

Oh, and I can "see" the molten ore inside of the smeltery controllor in the bar at the top (where it says the block im looking at and what mod its from).
