I need help. Everytime I make a world in attack of the b-team and try joining it, it goes to shutting down internal server and going to a screen saying Minecraft has ran out of memory. How do I fix this.

I have downloaded 3 mod packs if this helps and don't know how to get rid of them

Try to add more memory to your luncher. You can do that by clicking on the sprocket in the upper right corner.

More is needed most likely, depending on the computer and texture pack people seem to be happiest with anywhere from 1.5GB to 3GB.  1GB is very variable, some machines will crash occasionally, others regularly, but pretty much all will crash on 1GB eventually.
