Canning Machine Destroys Cells

Hello all,

 

I am trying to use coalfuel cells to fill fuel cans, but whenever I put in a coalfuel cell and empty can, the canning machine gets roughly 25% of the way through before the coalfuel cell suddenly disappears and the process stops. The white progress arrow just freezes where it is, and no empty cans are used. The number of coalfuel cells doesn't seem to matter, as it just seems to delete everything in the top slot when this happens.

 

I found a similar post here: http://tekkitclassic.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:86836 but nobody has found a solution. Does anyone know of a fix?
