Custom Modpack Broken, I need help!

Hi,

 

I made a custom modpack, uploaded it to the website, put in the URL to the launcher, and when the modpack starts loading in the negatives. It then says:  Error downloading file for the following pack: IDCIDK

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Failed to download [modpack link] Please consult    modpack  author.

mediafire doesn't work for hosting your mod pack.  if, when you click on your modpack link, you get a webpage instead of a download window it will not work.  the link has to be direct.  this is hard to do with a free host, since most of them make money by showing ads next to a big "download here!" button, which is exactly what you don't want.

copy.com works well (at least right now). Simply sign up and upload the file there. Share it through their interface and add "?download=1" to the public URL (without quotes).

Dropbox works very nicely, you could upload the modpack to the public folder and link it from there!
