Is it possible for the Technic launcher to be removed and to use the old one?

Question

is it possible to change the Technic launcher to the old one from Technic 5.0.5, because (and i am sure many people have the same problem) when i launch the game it either shuts down by its self, or when i make a map it shuts it self down, and i cant change the mods i want to help, and the old launcher was easier, as you can choose the mod you want, and it does not shut down by its self, so is it possible to change the launcher to the old version, or if you can make one for me so i can use it as it is really bugging me out!

No, You cannot play technic with a pirated account. Yes everyone know what you want. No you wont get it.

Honestly it's been kinda stated all over that they dont give out the older launchers or anything like that. Sorry.

Helloooooooooo?

You can choose your mods with the helpful 'Mod Select' butan.

But yeah, stickies and shizz is the way to go.

EDIT : Good call, perp. Dis guy's certified good-for-nothing ne'er-do-well. This is his only post.

Don't you get it? The new launcher FORCED him to install java incorrectly and ignore the mod select button. It's a design flaw. We're trying to fix it but it keeps getting worse. Now it's making people constantly mistake NEI for TMI. Also generally it seems to impair peoples ability to read. Both the rules thread and the stickied information threads. Trying to figure out which part of the code is doing that, but every time we playtest it we're overpowered by the urge to install the incorrect bit version of java for our OS's. It's really too much to handle and maybe we should just scrap the launcher. It seems the be the source of all these awful awful bugs.

Funnily enough, the mod-select button has never worked for me. Not one single time. I set up file associations to open .props, .cfg, .conf, and .yml files all in VIm, and routinely do so. And yet mod select still fails. I have no idea why, and I have never cared enough to check.

Odd. All it does is open that config file for you and you can just go open it manually so no big loss really.

Yeah, tried it again just now and still doesn't do shit. :P But yeah, not a feature I need or want so meh. It's probably due to running it under Windows 7 as non-superuser, considering Windows 7 also is doing arcane funky shit with my folders' read permissions, where it marks everything under C:\Users as read-only, even if I explicitly make it read-write, changing it right back to read-only.....except it's not actually read-only, because Technic (and everything else) writes to it just fine.
