KingLemming does not want to work on this mod anymore.

Someone on their modpage on curse asked the same question and no one's said a thing since.

He stopped but the mod isn't dead. Look at teamcofh.com at the changelog. There was an update not long ago.

Calm down. It was a shock for me too. Relax and move on.

 

Edit: Just saw a 3.0.0.7 update on the way.

KingLemming said long ago that he would do the rework to TE3 only. It has been clear for a long time that others would have to take over after TE3 was finished, and judging from the existence of minor versions above 3.0, others have taken over.

He did remarkable work, and all praise to him. But he was not the only person contributing.

Even if he is out of the game, good on him. I've felt that pull before and seen others with more life than myself wither due to its addictive nature. Hopefully he stays on in some capacity if he isn't already but if not I'm sure the rest of the team will manage just fine.

I know that this kind of question is considered trolling and is upsetting a lot of people but I've got to ask.

What is the state of 1.7.2 future for Thermal Expansion? Is someone porting it? Noticed today the MFR 1.7.2 switch.

I'm not talking tekkit here. This is just a question about TE3.

It'll be done when it's done if they decide to do it. As for whether or not they are I suggest you continue monitoring their Patreon and main site.

I was waiting for this kind of answer :) I see the RF API for 1.7.2 done.

My god... Redpower 3 plans...

 

Need to.. check MFR on 1.7.2 in creative later today.

Actually I've read somewhere that someone (not related to teamcofh) was planning a 1.7.2 port but now I don't know what to think.

In my findings I never found a clear 'Were making a 1.7.2 version now for TE' from anybody. Was little confused.

 

Edit: The RF API is a must as it is the necessary step for other mods but I suspect a lack of actual 1.7.2 work as 1.6.4 updates are coming recently.

I thought about being a patron for teamcofh but I could already see the look on my wife's face about our money monthly spend on some game....

TE4 is out for 1.7.10

Don't mind bochen, he is easily excited. That TE4 announcement had him bouncing all over the place, all day long.

I've been all over the places lately and have some bad news for tekkit:

no support for 1.6 versions of TE is given at this time. Here's an example.
