Villages are wayyy to hard to find or am i doing this wrong

I started a new game because i couldnt find villages on my old one so now i started a new game and i went around my spawn biome to biome as a bat looking for villiges.. i have checked at least 25+ biomes to only finding witch huts... am i missing them or are they no longer in the game for now?

Assuming you are playing 1.0.12a (You should be. I think it was pushed to recommended by now?).

 

Yes. There was a chunk corruption bug with Biomes O'Plenty, which is why the village were disabled (for now).

They still spawn in vanilla biomes. That is why they must be super rare for you.

That fully depends on the developer of Biomes O'Plenty.

If it's worth it, I'm sure a hotfix will be out.

Melfice, from all of the discussions of this bug I've read here and elsewhere, BoP won't be fixing this issue any time soon.

you can build a computer and buy the spawner eggs. hope this helps
