Can't get a custom server working

I have followed a couple different steps to make a server and both times when I make it, I launch and the cmd.exe pops up for less than a second and closes.

• Damage Indicators mod is a client only mod. It must be removed on the server.

I did remove Damage Indicators

Don't just click the batch file, run it FROM the command prompt so you can see what the specific.problem is. You will need to run cmd and then CD to the server directory to run the batch. It depends on what version of windows you got, but this is the basics you need to learn about to run a server and to be able to deal with the logs and everything that goes along with it.

If you do this:

and remove Damage Indicators your server will work.

Bears server was sorted, He added me on skype, turns out all he had to do was run a forge universal jarfile
