10-1 AVG is the culprit. for whatever reason, AVG absolutely hates the technic launcher and will prevent it from working even when disabled with java added as an exception. uninstall it and see if that helps.

Yeah I got it working I was exspecting the thing to open like it did for Yogscast Duncan in his tekkit tutorials part 1 but with MY specs some how I had to open with %appdata% Roaming .techniclauncher [File] Technic-launcher with the java symbol clicked that opend it then drug it to my desk top.

I decided to put the path in for anyone haveing trubles like me.

Now i truly can say good idea for a multi pack launcher but still got some .exe format wrinkles to iron out.

also if I want to swap between yogbox and hack / mine it would unload the first pack first right?

other thant these now i can start kickin some creeper ass again.

the version of optifine that technic/tekkit uses is already setup to use HD texture packs, no further changes needed.

Ty Freakachu. also wondering if any one uses the texturepack Sphax Pure BDCraft 128x or 64x with the tekkit texture support cause I've found an over sight they forgot the texture for the honey comb item I got both the main Texture pack and the tekkit support from the link in Tekkit with Duncan on you tobe and so far I like it but why did they forget the honey comb? if any one has found the texture for it or knows the name of the file and how to fix it please let me know.

I know this is not a Technic problem just figure the players and this forum group are buisyer than the forum base for a texture pack sight so sorry if this is a spam post.

The whole launcher thing is happening to me too here's what it says: ee the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Useless stuff

To all paying attention: please don't do this. There's a bug report form for a reason. Posting a random Java error message will not help.

Stop threadjacking, read the stickies (from which you may be able to solve your own error), and then post in the right section with the right information, please.
