The only download I could find on the tekkit website is 2.1.1. But the EE patch doesn't work with 2.1.1, therefore any server running 2.1.1 either gets griefed into the stoneage or else doesn't have EE so players go elsewhere.

So yeah, where are the older versions kept?

2.1.0 and 2.1.1 are the same. It was a numbering error if i'm not mistaken. The client version is 2.1.1 and the server version is 2.1.0. The patch should work fine.

This is not a little problem - it's a game-breaking one. Fortunately, there is a quick and easy fix. Unfortunately for you, you failed to either look for the fix or RTFS. Or post your own thread. Or use the bug report format. Or post in the right section.

*Edit: Or restrict your posts to one for the same error. And being a forum newbie is not an excuse, as you've been here a while. Not that it ever was one.

What the shit, thread hijacking, and not using the report format? take a week off.

Now, hold on a second, Jay. Pilot is the guy running the server I mentioned. I asked him to add his error log to this thread because I knew if I just repeated what he was telling me (The EE patch kills ModLoader,) the next thing you would have done is ask me to post the error log.

Any chance you can reconsider that 5-day ban? I asked him to post the log here. It's not hijacking. It couldn't be more on-topic.

Okay. I'll unban him. Next time though, if you're going to have someone else post a bug report in your thread, you should make sure to SAY that someone else is posting something, or that they say so. from our end it looks like some random hooligan wandered in from the street and vomited logs all over your report.

Those damn football hooligans posting bug reports where they don't belong ;p

It's the same Bukkit server and EE2 versions in both 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 (I think 2.1.1 was just a minor fix to the mod ordering and some configuration conflicts, not a code change), so I'd expect the fix to work. Looks like you just need Java 7.
