I do not know if this has already been found out but Forestry works now. I wanted to install the latest version changed a few id's and Whooohoo ya it worked if a moderater/admin sees this i'd like it very much please add it back. I'm asking because it came out for incommpatibilaty <- spell fail but if you don't want too i can just add it myself no big deal i just want to tell you it works

The Technic Team is not going to readd forestry, it wasn't removed due to the fact that it didn't work, it was removed due to the fact that the creator specifically modified it to stop working if you were using it via the Technic Launcher.

He removed the offending code due to the fact that the Technic Team removed it from the pack, so users can manually install it.

Incompatibility is not why Forestry was removed.

Oh god these threads are coming faster and faster. Forestry, BTW and ETA's spinning ever faster until the world ends in December. It happened to the Mayans, they may have called it Better Than Jaguars but it's the same thing. Even the fact they modified it to work with pyramids and called this offshoot Better Then Incas is far to close to what we see happening today.

The END IS NIGH and only faith in the one true mod pack will save us. Prepare for the seventh coming of Technic, just don't ask when it'll be here.

Hi, could it be possible to get a guide on how you install forestry on tekkit. It's because the reason me and some of my friends use tekkkit is because we have tried to setup servers with different mods over and over again but we always fail, unfortunately! We are so happy that tekkit has been made or we wouldn't be able to play minecraft with the mods we desire! What I'm trying to say is, that you can always say that we can install a mod manually but I really suck at it, a guide might help but that is what I love about tekkit is "doubleclick" and it works! I really don't understand those who makes the mods, it's like begging us NOT to use their mods when they pull stunts like these! They should actually praise you since you bring modded minecraft to laymen! ^^

If this is how you feel then I wouldn't use Forestry at all. We removed it because it would destroy your worlds, it wouldn't harm us that work on Technic, just our players. We found out, warned everyone and removed it. His mod was good, unfortunately his ego has damaged is credibility beyond repair.
