Description of Problem

I'm on a Windows 7. I run Java 64 bit. I have updated my java and re-downloaded TechnicLauncher.exe about 4 times. When I run Technic, it firsts downloads something. Then closes. When i try to reopen it, it just opens a windows and closes after 2 sces. I checked if i have the .jar file in the .techniclauncher folder.

Don't know what to do anymore. I'm pretty close to become suicidal. Help. Now.

This problem is solved in the common problems sticky. So don't kill yourself, read the stickies, and then you will be able to enjoy the Technic experience.

For java version, tell us which one it is, not type.

I you have java 6 try updating to java 7.

i updated my java 6 to java 7 yesterday from and made sure its the 64

Also, you should post your logs with the error report.

Your "Logs" folder is located in .techniclauncher. The most recent will always be "launcher_0.log".

For reporting bugs, take the information in that file and paste it into www.pastie.org or www.pastebin.com, and give us the link.
