nisalaandjudah Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I have a small PC-about 2 Ram.What are some technology based modpacks that I can run smoothly?
nisalaandjudah Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 MB-Actually I think i am getting close to 1 mb
andystan1912 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Woah! 2 MB RAM? I think you mean 2 GB RAM MB is really small. Also, if you have a windows 7 PC, stick a memory stick in it and set it to be 'Dedicated to readyboost'. this will make your PC think that it is another stick of RAM. In terms of modpacks you could run, I recommend Tekkit Lite, Tekkit Classic, or my modpack http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/andystans-tiny-tech-pack.469874

If anything goes over your ACTUAL amount of RAM it will not be good.
nisalaandjudah Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 2mb srry-By the way thx for that modpack
nisalaandjudah Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 'minecraft has run out of memeory wth?
Hydreigon635 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I'm pretty sure you mean GB. MB in terms of RAM is really small. That error message you get is what happens when you run Minecraft without sufficient RAM allocated to it.
nisalaandjudah Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 How do i allocate ram for a modpack
andystan1912 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 It depends on weather you have 32 bit or 64 bit windows. If you have a 32 bit system, you are stuck on 1 GB ram allocated for minecraft and you can't change it. If you have a 64 bit system, boot up the Technic Launcher, press the cog on the top right of the window, click the 'Memory' drop down menu and select the option which is 1 GB below the amount which you have
Chrisvin123 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Back to the original topic, I have a modpack that runs fine on my notebook laptop. I'm dedicated to it, and it has 41 mods and a server. If your interested, here is the forum thread '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> Bye!
