Disabling mods on server

I'm running a hamchi server for me and some friends. I got everything to work but I want to get rid of some of the mods. How can I disable some mods from the server.

Go into your mods folder and delete em

The mod folder in the Tekkit.jar or the extracted one. Do I have to mess with the files in config.

Well what mods are you trying to disable?

Most, you can just remove from the mods folder and they won't launch when the server launches.
