Checking Melon seeds

Hi Folks,

From all that I've read, melon seeds are still only attainable through abandoned mine chests. Is this still the case please?

I just wanted to check before I don armour and go hunting.

Their are other ways to get them with the pack but the easiest my be to go mine shaft raiding.

Other than that you have a random chance of getting melons by cross breeding plants with IC2's crop system. As well as a wide array of other plants but the system is purely random and may take awhile to get what you want from it.

You can also instant transmute a placed pumpkin to a melon block with the Philosopher's stone by rightclicking on it with it.
