Description of Problem:

I run my server off my old laptop, so to increase speed basically.

I can't craft any items from any of the mods, like tree taps etc., and when I've gone to check plugins in the server plugin folder ... there aren't any plugins?

As long as you are using the proper server from http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ and it's not working, you should try re-downloading the launcher?

The Tekkit server package will no longer include any Bukkit plugins by default.

If you have used a reload command recently, dont. Reload commands will break your crafting of modded items. Only use reboots. Restarting the server will fix your problem, and as perpetualgamer said, Tekkit will no longer include any plugins, go download them for yourself.

Do you need the plugins for it to work?

No, the folder you are after is actually called "Mods"

The plugins folder is for Bukkit, Mods is for FML

Ahh I'm sorry, such an idiot! haha! Any idea what's wrong with the minimap though? It just says "null error" ...
