To get the new version what you need to do is when on the launcher menu click on the little cog/wheel/options button for the tekkit pack picture (by that I mean the image to the left) then a black menu will come and make sure the drop down box that says select build says 0.6.5 (sorry i got the packs versions muddled up for a while) or a version similar to that but as long as it says latest after it. If this is not true you probably need to check the little button that says "always use recommended builds" that should fix your problem at least I think that should help

Oh umm how much RAM do you have in your computer you can check this by opening "computer" then click the button at the top that says "System Properties" and looking on the list that comes up for the part that says "Memory (RAM): 4.00GB" as in the last post that is what mine says what does yours say?

I remember now I think what you need to do to download it is to open properties then copy and paste the link from that into the URL bar at the top of the browser

Nope you can't get this mod for past 1.2.5 meaning it is as buggy as hell but it is still kinda cool and i wish it had'nt been disscontinued. believe me I have tried to get it but I always end up having to play on 1.2.5 which is awfull

I think I had this problem for a while when I used internet explorer 10 It's something to do with the cookie settings

Do you expect people to reply to your messages within a day? just look at how long other posts took to get commented on! Looking at your problem I would advise to either try a different version of the modpack or just be patient and wait for a better reply!

Basically I want to run a server through a hot spot that's why I asked what I did Our local FON network ( which by the way is a global hotspot system) runs up and down the street we both live on so it is the same network Sorry I failed to make that clear in my initial post The hotspot is free for both of us to use before you ask
