In average, about how rare is each ore? For example how much per chunk? (I have done the calculations and got a rough estimate based on 64 chunks now [6/15/13]) Iron - 92 Gold - 9 Diamond - 3 Copper - 37 Silver - 18 Tin - 34 Lead - 15 Ferrous - 4 Emerald - 3 I'm trying to set up some trade booths in an NPC village with this stuff.

Most of the time you can simply relog and that fixes the issue.

For the record, it's not just Aspergers, it's several other things too. It makes me hard to get along with, unable to work, and moody. Hard for me to control myself especially in situations where I feel insulted. Normally am able to blow it off but people in the chat have targeted me several times before and it builds up, on top of the stress I have to deal with this week because of impending court date on friday so this week really isn't good.

undeleted - *I can do this all day.* Obnoxious? Someone asked for info about Windows 8, and since all of my personal experiences with it have proven to be disappointing, I pointed out all the disappointing features of Windows 8. Someone then butts in to 'be a tard' as Lethosos puts it, and I confront him on it angrily since I was annoyed that apparently people are talking about me behind my back making others I don't even know yet be 'tards' towards me. I wasn't being a douche, I was responding harshly towards someone who was being an ass as I was annoyed at (the above) + the fact that several people in the chat just wait until they see me doing something they can make fun of and piss me off with. --------------- Another fact to point out; Some users in the chat wait for me to say something negative, so they can immediately start attacking me. Making me out to be the bad guy. If I say something positive, no one notices nor cares. If I'm asking for help with something, someone might help, other times it's totally ignored. But no, every single time I make even the slightest negative comment towards something "Windows 8 doesn't have a start menu", I get attacked by these vultures waiting there to start a conflict. I didn't start anything, that dickmunch did, I was just sick of it and responded angrily.

undeleted *I can do this all day.* Just discussing with someone about Windows 8 when I noticed they were talking about it, pointing out everything I remember about it which was basically everything I disliked and thought was bad. So pointing out all the bad things about Windows 8, some jerkoff butts in and decides to insult me. Naturally I get pissed because some of these people butt into everything I say and start insulting me simply because I notice bugs more often than anyone else and I point out the things I dislike about something. Then an admin banned the both of us after telling us "Fuck both of you". <Mooseman9>: Holy shit it's true <Lothos>: minesweeper, freecell, solitaire, etc <Lothos>: oh thats rught <Lothos>: microsfot has to reeducate us consumers again <Mooseman9>: You actually do whine about everything. <Lothos>: hmm? <Vas>: You know what. Fuck you Mooseman9. <Mooseman9>: Talking about vas <Vas>: Go shove a pine cone up your ass and but out. Talking about the good and bad about Windows 8 and you pop in to bitch about anyone who says anything bad about it and call it whining. It's simply stating the facts. <BR>: ooooo <Mooseman9>: "On top of that, Windows 8 looks like it was made for stupid people" <Mooseman9>: Pure fact there <Maiden>: What the fuck <Maiden>: Fuck both of you --- Maiden has banned *!*@*!* *** Mooseman9 was kicked by Maiden (Maiden) --- Maiden has banned *!*@*!* *** Vas was kicked by Maiden (Maiden) !!! You have been kicked from #technic I believe this to be unfair, as there are no rules listed anywhere about what can and can't be said in the chat, nor has anyone done anything before when people were picking on me, and if it's related to the use of curse words, an admin shouldn't be allowed to use them either. I am unclear as to what I did wrong. Discussing my opinions (although my opinions of the product were bad), should not be against the rules. Cursing on the other hand could have been done without, I do have issues with mood swings, especially when people start to insult me. I have a fair few issues I'll admit, and it's hard for me to get along with people. I usually don't have a problem when people aren't going out of their way to be asshats. Picked on all throughout school all my life for being different (I know why only after I was diagnosed with Aspergers and several other things AFTER I left school), I get aggravated easily when insulted or treated like crap. So, now does an admin wish to include a list of chat rules to the Global Rules section of the forum and wish to explain to me why an admin cursed us both out before banning us? What rules did we break?
-
Someone in the chat suggestively told me to use it making it sound great and all and basically trolled me when it didn't work. -.-

invalid. I created the server entirely using no files whatsoever on the new version and it still errored out with incorrect minecraft_server.jar.
-
I have an issue with Microblocks disappearing when you teleport around them. AKA dimension door or Crystal age portals, or even /tp or /tpx. Other people I've asked don't have this problem, even on my server. Some claim it's just me and something's wrong with my installation (which is crap because how can an installation randomly corrupt it's self?). Some claim it's an issue with laptops, even if that laptop is more powerful than a desktop that is running the game just fine. I'm a little sick of invisible microblocks, and am considering banning from from my server by deleting them, as they cause me to teleport back to the previous block I was on if you walk over one. Some people use them as stairs, so when they are invisible, if I touch the block containing a microblock, I teleport backwards annoyingly. Server version 1.0.6. No error logs. What causes microblocks to turn invisible and how do you fix this issue since apparently I'm the only one having the issue, so I hear so far. My friend built his house entirely out of microblocks so most of the time, it's invisibleish.
-
What's the latest recommended build, 1.0.6 still? I'm waiting for a recommended build to come out so my game will stop crashing constantly to known bugs that are fixed in updates 1.0.6 doesn't have. I can't report these bugs as they are already fixed "ages ago" according to the makers of those mods. Does 1.1.2 seem stable enough to run a server on or is it less stable than 1.0.6? Does it include the correct version of minecraft_server.jar? One of your previous versions did not.
-
if they won't let you make the mod, why would they let you play the mod?
-
So you want to make the invulnerable quantum suit into an invulnerable power suit? When I used to play Tekkit Classic, the quantum suit was totally invulnerable and unkillable no matter what you did. I could stand in lava for hours.
-
So would this be why my server becomes unusable every so often? I had a massive amount of problems and eventually I had to delete the entire server and start from scratch. This is a massive issue if this is the cause.

Turn off night vision. Hit K to open key bindings, move your night vision to a key like Number pad keys (is what I did) and turn night vision off. I don't have this problem, but a lot of others do.
-
So does forge clean up the leaks? I have a chunk loader under my space station set to load the entire station (about 50 chunks) and so far nothing seems to be going wrong with my server.
-
But what's it mean by leaked?
-
I have this about a million times in my log. I noticed it because my server suddenly stopped working without any errors anywhere at all in any of the forge or server logs. So I'm about to cancel my hosting with the provider once I test a previously working backup. Here's what I mean by the odd thing I get in my logs: 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 3d5bfa7c (world) may have leaked: seen 6295 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 3e9c594c (world) may have leaked: seen 6550 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 693f8c10 (world) may have leaked: seen 6455 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 683cc01f (world) may have leaked: seen 6555 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 1c85a715 (world) may have leaked: seen 1680 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 27a62569 (world) may have leaked: seen 6555 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 2d7b6911 (world) may have leaked: seen 6475 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 9de3210 (world) may have leaked: seen 6420 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 30fb0844 (world) may have leaked: seen 6370 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 2dbe8e2b (world) may have leaked: seen 6480 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 79c17dcd (world) may have leaked: seen 840 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 78799331 (world) may have leaked: seen 6445 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 3ca537f9 (world) may have leaked: seen 6330 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 3db55395 (world) may have leaked: seen 1710 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 4f586404 (world) may have leaked: seen 6420 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 646cf858 (world) may have leaked: seen 6310 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:03 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 2889dd (world) may have leaked: seen 6325 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 36bd8cac (world) may have leaked: seen 3955 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 45a8773b (world) may have leaked: seen 9625 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 21133cb9 (world) may have leaked: seen 3755 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 59fd6512 (world) may have leaked: seen 6330 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 342638ae (world) may have leaked: seen 1555 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world a23519d (world) may have leaked: seen 6410 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 4b2f9def (world) may have leaked: seen 6495 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 19a15004 (world) may have leaked: seen 6415 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 1cd1e5d8 (world) may have leaked: seen 6440 times. 2013-06-02 11:54:13 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 49cc4a9a (world) may have leaked: seen 6310 times. Trying to make a 3x3 door Using Rednet cable
Vas replied to TokiWartooth's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Someone in my server made a working 3x3 piston door with normal redstone and a rednet cable to go up a long tunnel as well as a computer program to give it the open command for a timed duration. -
Yes, this is what I did in my server when I found out my beloved solar panels are gone. but then this requires you to use ender chests/tanks and pipes and maybe even chunk loaders which apparently are glitchy. Also, There's a big power consumer. That infuser machine that powers your suit. God I've drained craptons of power into my suit barely charging it any. At least everything else uses very little power. It's just not very helpful trying to run oxygen farms on the moon when you can't have an infinite source of energy that requires no attention and no CPU / memory hogging tasks such as a tree farm, ender chest, chunk loader, ender tank and multiple bio reactors.

Those are the logs of the crash. I said it was a coincidence that the rift thing happened at the same time as the issue though the instant I used it and it said I didn't have enough pearls, my connection started to boot me repeatedly after logging on. Though I did have an ender pouch in my inventory linked to one of the chests that chunk loader destroyed by reverting the chunk it was in. Got the chunk restored through a previous backup of the server and that issue went away, though I'm still having the other issue. I can provide the server files to the mod makers if it'd help find the bug causing my other issue.

Title: EnderChest reverting chunks Version: 1.0.6 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Java Version: Java 7 Update 15 Description of Problem: When logged in, we noticed one chunk was reset to as if it had never been edited before, like a brand new freshly seeded chunk. It was the exact chunk with a chunk loader set to 5x5 in it, the other chunks were unaffected, only the single chunk with the device in it was. This chunk had a large potion of sorting building in it with pipes and ender chests. Well this wasn't really a huge issue. Except the fact that the instant we tried to use ender pouch, we were disconnected with an "end or stream" error. I'll paste the actual server log error below. Coincidentally at the same time, I had used a stabilized Rift Signature to try and create a doorway between islands. It told me I didn't have enough pearls then ended me in an endless disconnect from server issue where the instant I connected, I disconnected again with an "end of stream" error. So at this point I can't tell if it was my rift or the chunk loader deleting the active ender chests. That's what logs are for right? Description of Problem Revised: Ok so apparently something I missed. All chunks with an ender chest were reverted. The problem is ender chests, not chunk loaders. It happened again and we can't seem to undo the problem. I will have to disable ender chests if this problem can't be fixed, which will really destroy all the work we've done because ender chests are a huge part of what we use to automate everything. Also, it turns out the server is crashing, and that's causing the ender chests to freak out and revert the land. We have no clue what's causing the server crashes though. I have uploaded the server after it's crash and screwups: (LINK GONE) This server is the messed up version after the crash that caused all ender chests to freak out and chunk-reset. Well one mod is having an extreme issue (steve's carts) so I may have to remve that mod from my server all together. It's one with the biggest UI conflict but it's also causing overflow disconnects.
-
Gee. Thanks for the support fellow forum members. So no one here has ever had an issue with the user interface fighting with it's self for which mod's UI is on top?
-
The user interface is cluttered with some mods and trying to stack themsevles on top of all your other interfaces. Is there a way to forcefully move some interface items? My interface starts flickering rapidly trying to figure out what should be on top because my auto feeder, minecart interface, and oxygen tanks use the same corner of the screen. If you need a screenshot I can surely do that but I'm sure some of you already experienced these things.

That's why I mentioned battery decay, or even solar panel decay. But then it'd defeat the purpose of a self sufficient moon base I suppose. Anyhow. I think we can let this topic go down. I may start another one at some point as there's some things I found in tekkit that don't seem to have any purpose or I can't figure out what they really do. Yea, I don't see anything wrong with a solar panel farm being infinite source of energy. I mean it still requires batteries and all. And MV/HV solar arrays were rather powerful so maybe disable both of those and people might look into nuclear power instead. Hah, adding antimater generators to the game. That'd be awesome. Of course 10 times more devastating than a power plant max explosion.
