  1. Make sure you have the latest version of java installed, and make sure it's the right one for your machine - 32-bit java will not work on a 64-bit system.
  2. I'm not sure if it's possible to change what items scrapboxes can drop in the config files, but if it is, you can probably remove the item that's causing the crash.
  3. Will the deployer drop any items from the scrapboxes at all, or does it crash every time you attempt to deploy a scrap box? Also, just fyi, it's not really considered good form here to bump your own thread.
  4. OP have you tried fresh installs? Delete everything from the .techniclauncher folder and delete the launcher, then try redownloading everything.
  5. My server does this exact same thing, but everything works perfectly fine. Ops can use NEI to spawn items, and regular users can use it to view recipies and such. I think NEI just lacks a confirmation message that it's finished loading.
  6. Can you post the error log?
  7. I haven't seen any posts mention this yet, but in addition to the wacky texture-flipping, I've noticed that when viewing the GUI of a Solar Array of any voltage at night, after a few seconds the sunlight indicator will come on. Placing any chargeable item in the Solar Array's slot will make it appear that it is charging, even with the EU rising steadily in the tooltip. Exiting the GUI and viewing it again reverts the item back to the charge it had when it was placed in the slot, until a few seconds pass and the sunlight indicator turns on again. I didn't want to post it as a bug report, because I'd rather know if this problem is present in the most recent builds of Tekkit Lite. I don't want to upgrade yet to find out for myself because my server is still running 0.5.7.
  8. Can anyone else on the server drop it with the Buildcraft Wrench or the Crescent Hammer?
  9. Currently the Power Tool's axe module does not work with Treecapitator. Does anyone know the proper item ID needed to add the Power Tool with an axe module to Treecapitator to make it work like a regular axe does? Is it even possible to add? I love the Power Tool but I hate that I have to carry around my chainsaw everywhere if I want to chop down trees.
  10. You can also use the Energy Bridge. You'll need a Consumer block and a Producer block on either side of the Energy Bridge block. Consumer is your input, in your case MJ, and Producer is your output, EU. I would suggest converting it all to high voltage and have it feed directly into an MFSU (or several, you can never have too much EU).
  11. Yeah, make sure you're holding shift when you right-click to pick it up. Attempting to break it any other way will make it lose all its energy.
  12. Try hitting F9 to check if there are actually any chunkloader blocks placed anywhere. I'm not getting this bug with the dimensional anchors I keep in my world, but those are the only type of chunkloader blocks I use.
  13. I had the same problem as the OP and found out it was my antivirus being a dick. I got it to download Tekkit Lite just fine, but Technic would give me the "Update failed!" message. I disabled my antivirus, restarted the launcher, and it worked just fine. If you're using AVG, Norton, or McAfee, try disabling it before you attempt to download the a modpack.
  14. So then it's a problem with Minecraft and not Redpower? The only other time I've noticed lighting not updating properly is in a Mystcraft age with constant lightning strikes. If the lightning causes a fire, even on one block of grass, the light from that fire will stay until I disconnect and reconnect. I haven't tested it with glowstone blocks or the vanilla redstone lamps.
  15. I also have this problem occasionally, but it only ever happens when I'm moving my quarries in a Mystcraft age. It has never happened to me in the overworld.
