  1. Make sure you have the latest version of java installed, and make sure it's the right one for your machine - 32-bit java will not work on a 64-bit system.
  2. I'm not sure if it's possible to change what items scrapboxes can drop in the config files, but if it is, you can probably remove the item that's causing the crash.
  3. Will the deployer drop any items from the scrapboxes at all, or does it crash every time you attempt to deploy a scrap box? Also, just fyi, it's not really considered good form here to bump your own thread.
  4. OP have you tried fresh installs? Delete everything from the .techniclauncher folder and delete the launcher, then try redownloading everything.
  5. My server does this exact same thing, but everything works perfectly fine. Ops can use NEI to spawn items, and regular users can use it to view recipies and such. I think NEI just lacks a confirmation message that it's finished loading.
  6. Can you post the error log?
  7. I haven't seen any posts mention this yet, but in addition to the wacky texture-flipping, I've noticed that when viewing the GUI of a Solar Array of any voltage at night, after a few seconds the sunlight indicator will come on. Placing any chargeable item in the Solar Array's slot will make it appear that it is charging, even with the EU rising steadily in the tooltip. Exiting the GUI and viewing it again reverts the item back to the charge it had when it was placed in the slot, until a few seconds pass and the sunlight indicator turns on again. I didn't want to post it as a bug report, because I'd rather know if this problem is present in the most recent builds of Tekkit Lite. I don't want to upgrade yet to find out for myself because my server is still running 0.5.7.
  8. Can anyone else on the server drop it with the Buildcraft Wrench or the Crescent Hammer?
  9. Currently the Power Tool's axe module does not work with Treecapitator. Does anyone know the proper item ID needed to add the Power Tool with an axe module to Treecapitator to make it work like a regular axe does? Is it even possible to add? I love the Power Tool but I hate that I have to carry around my chainsaw everywhere if I want to chop down trees.
  10. You can also use the Energy Bridge. You'll need a Consumer block and a Producer block on either side of the Energy Bridge block. Consumer is your input, in your case MJ, and Producer is your output, EU. I would suggest converting it all to high voltage and have it feed directly into an MFSU (or several, you can never have too much EU).
  11. Yeah, make sure you're holding shift when you right-click to pick it up. Attempting to break it any other way will make it lose all its energy.
  12. Try hitting F9 to check if there are actually any chunkloader blocks placed anywhere. I'm not getting this bug with the dimensional anchors I keep in my world, but those are the only type of chunkloader blocks I use.
  13. I had the same problem as the OP and found out it was my antivirus being a dick. I got it to download Tekkit Lite just fine, but Technic would give me the "Update failed!" message. I disabled my antivirus, restarted the launcher, and it worked just fine. If you're using AVG, Norton, or McAfee, try disabling it before you attempt to download the a modpack.
  14. So then it's a problem with Minecraft and not Redpower? The only other time I've noticed lighting not updating properly is in a Mystcraft age with constant lightning strikes. If the lightning causes a fire, even on one block of grass, the light from that fire will stay until I disconnect and reconnect. I haven't tested it with glowstone blocks or the vanilla redstone lamps.
  15. I also have this problem occasionally, but it only ever happens when I'm moving my quarries in a Mystcraft age. It has never happened to me in the overworld.
  16. Are there a lot of BC pipes or RP2 tubes in that particular chunk? I have a massive drop in FPS when I'm in my house with my sorting system that uses about a stack and a half worth of tubes all in one or two chunks. It will also happen if you have many intersecting IC2 wires. All of these put a heavy strain on the CPU, so the FPS drop will be local and the server will not lag.
  17. I've been looking into new ways to light my houses, and I've found Lamps, Caged Lamps, and Fixtures. They're really neat, but they seem to be buggy, the fixtures in particular. I have several Fixtures in my house on my SMP server, and my friend has many in his as well. They are all Inverted Fixtures to cut down on wiring, but some of them just refuse to work properly. One room in my friend's house occasionally gets dark enough for hostile mobs to spawn, and several places in my house the lighting levels on the debug menu show that several of mine do not work at all. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried breaking and replacing the Inverted Fixtures to no avail. The fixtures in question are also multiple colors. It does not seem to be a problem with caged lamps or the regular square block lamps.
  18. Title: Clock in item frame keeps disappearing in MystCraft age Version: 0.5.1 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Java Version: 1.7.0-b147 Description of Problem: I have a clock placed in an item frame in a Mystcraft age I use for mining, and the clock and frame randomly disappear from the wall. Running 0.5.7 with no extra mods. Error Messages: No error messages Error Log:
  19. It's happened to me as well, but only once (on two quarries at about the same time). The quarry still ran just fine, even though there was an entire block of space between the quarry and the frame. When the quarry finished, I broke the quarry, and then I was able to break all the bugged landmarks and reuse them.
  20. Back up your worlds (from the "%APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\tekkitlite\saves" folder) and then delete your .techniclauncher folder. Redownload the Technic Launcher and see if it still happens.
  21. There is a bug in the terrain generation that sometimes causes cave worlds to crash when trying to generate and place marble. The only fix I know of is to use MCEdit to move yourself to a different dimension.

    Macerator glitch

As far as I know it's a bug in the current version of IC2. The only fix I know of right now is to downgrade to an earlier version of the mod.
  23. Mine does this too, but it doesn't affect the server at all. It runs just fine, and NEI works for all clients, including spawning items for ops.

you have to remove IC2 machines with a wrench, otherwise you'll get only a machine block from nearly every single one. Wrenches also have a 20% chance of dropping a machine block, unless it's an electric wrench set to Lossless Mode. Alternately, you can use the prototype omniwrench, which has the same functions as an electric wrench in lossless mode.
  25. When are the errors occurring?
