  1. Worldguard depends on the latest version of Worldedit to function properly. So make sure thats working properly first (Tekkit does NOT come with the latest version!). I used a configuration file from a previous Worldguard setup on another server so perhaps thats why I am not having any trouble.
  2. I use Worldguard fairly successfully on my server. The key is replacing the WorldEdit build that comes with Tekkit with the latest version available. Other then that you may have some issues with Worldguard not recognizing some of the new block types as well.
  3. Which build specificly? I'm interested in tracking down who exactly did this as I consider tampering with the ban-list of server software a fairly serious issue.
  4. go to tekkit/config/ModLoader.cfg in your server files. There you can cleanly stop certain mods from being loaded without having to mess around with moving files etc.
  5. Convenient Inventory have already been removed from the latest 2.1.1 build of tekkit.
  6. I'm not sure this is a result of the tekkit team. Before the release of Tekkit 2.0 I was running a server without tekkit but running many of the same mods that come with it and I discovered the same issue.
  7. Regardless it'd be nice to have a little more information on some of the entries. What exactly are: grassFix=true mod_DoorFix=on for example?
  8. Re: Bugs found in Tekkit 2.0 With regards to the programs related to armor values people are having: the lastest Forge Bukkit Port seems to suggest it was a problem with the Forge Port and that the problem is fixed: http://www.mcportcentral.co.za/index.php?topic=1360.0
  9. Not sure why there's so many thaumcraft suggestions considering this is in the tekkit section and theres no SMP thaumcraft that I know of. :o
  10. Just received an update for Tekkit through the launcher anyone have any idea what the changes are?
  11. I think there is actually. This is how Buildcraft used to work before engines were implemented. Try changing power.framework in the buildcraft config files on BOTH the server and client to power.framework=buildcraft.core.RedstonePowerFramework. current.continuous may need to be equal to true also.
  12. um, is the server still running? :o
  13. Try deleting the tekkit folder in .techniclauncher/tekkit then redownloading it through the launcher. I've seen this problem before from using an incorrect version of Industrialcraft so I'm thinking you have an old version hanging around from before. (Possibly duplicates aka one named Industrialcraft and another [1]Industrialcraft)
  14. I've had trouble getting Forestry stuff to run on Redstone Engines before. They just don't seem to be strong enough as they start working instantly if I switch to a Combustion Engine.
  15. Also, what are the teleport pipes connected to and what are you transporting between them? As well if you are using Advanced Insertion Pipes anywhere I've found that they can cause a graphical glitch where it *appears* that items are bouncing back and forth through pipes but in reality are behaving normally. Checking this with input/output chests might be a good idea.
  16. I ran into this problem while using my own cobbled together version of "Tekkit 2.0" before it was actually released. However after switching over to the official files this problem was magically solved. I never found out the cause so I can only suggest a process of elimination given that the problem is repeatable. Disable mods in the modloader file to try and narrow down which ones are causing the issue.
  17. The version of WorldEdit distributed with Tekkit seems to be a little out of date. Have you tried updating it?
  18. Re: Bugs found in Tekkit 2.0 Got a fix for the WirelessRedstone problem. Client appears to be missing some files. Download this zip and place it (don't unzip it) in .techniclauncher/tekkit/mods/ http://minecraft.ali4z.com/downloads/1.5/1_1/WirelessRedstoneClient.zip You should now be able to place the Wireless Blocks and also log back into worlds that crashed when you tried placing them before.
  19. Both Buildcraft and Forestry use a "Fake Player" to alter the world. If you install a permissions plugin it can interfere with the ability of these "Fake Players" to alter the world such as building Quarry Frames, Mining Blocks, etc. You can look in the config files for both of the mods to find the name of the Fake Players they create. From there just assign them the access to everything through whatever permissions plugin you're using. That should fix the problem.
