I'm no expert but I'll speak from experience. I run my server off 2 Xeon Quad-Core Processors with 4GB ram. I have java set to run @ 3GB. And it runs super smooth of course for 2 players. Your lag will mostly come from your bandwidth but if your not experiencing issues right now on Tekkit Classic you should haven't any problems with this release. I use all the mods in the server pack so I haven't tried to disable them. I'm sure you can delete the ones you don't want to do use out of the mods folder and that'd disable them. You may try one of the server tools at the bottom of the Tekkit page for managing the server. Hope I helped a little, s.kid

My server runs fine with a few errors.. i just left 'em alone... although i'm kinda wondering if one of them has something to do with the fact I can't build a TreeTap.

Anyone have a public server to join?
