  1. filler(set to clear.. all glass) to chop them down and obsidian pipes or something to collect stuff that hits the ground... Not sure how to plant them tho.
  2. Biofuel is the way to go. Start with steam engines and make your own manual tree farm using oak saplings. Connect the trees in a row not a big clump because you want to break the whole bunch with an axe but increase the sapling drops. Soon you can make some bio fuel and bio reactors. But to start just farming those trees and cooking logs into charcoal will give plenty of energy. Magmatic engins are going to lag the server and you will need to find new lava sources all the time. Skip the mag's and go for bio fuel and self sustaining farms that will last you forever.
  3. You can also just put the parachute in the parachute slot but it will only activate when returning from space. Like jumping off a space station or selecting to return to overworld from space.
  4. Has anyone been able to get uraninite to retroactively generate in their worlds from a 1.0.X version of tekkit? If so how? Also is there a way to make the mining laser from MFR pick-up uraninite also? I have gotten hundreds of ore from my laser and am yet to see a uraninite ore.
  5. Server is set to survival and i log in and i am in creative. So i manualy set /gamemode 0 and it works i am in survival then i re-log or go in a dim door or a myst world and i am back in creative. This wont stop happening. Any ideas? Also if i break a block it looks gone but it is still there on the server i just can't see it. Seems to be related to my player file in the world folder. After everything i tried logging in under a different account fixed it. Going to restart server and delete my player file from the world when i don't have any users on.
  6. Awesome. Guess that was posted in the wrong place then. I didn't have time to try 1.1.3 yet. Hopefully i can try a build tomorrow night. Thanks for all the hard work.
  7. I set up a trading booth to trade rednet cable for whatever is supposed to be copper cable "unnamed 149" i think it was. Just to get us by for the time being.
  8. I ran into this problem yesterday when trying to update the tekkit modpack to 1.1.1 except i never saw the mojang just the white screen. Not sure if the same problem but i just changed the launcher default file but deleting the tekkit folder would do the same thing. Seemed to me like maybe 1 file wasn't getting replaced in the new version and caused it to stall and never load.

  10. 1) Don't think it has a max I know if it does have a max it is higher than 500MJ/t 2) Energy tesseract max at 100MJ/t (think default setting is 25%loss so would be 75MJ/T) 3) i think it randomly picks cells to drain from and if you required enough energy it would drain from them all. Also there is an output setting on the cell. 4) dunno i will try to test it when i get that far. i would like to know also Hope that helped
  11. So I had to turn of the bigdig type ore generation and I think did it right. Just went into /Config/CofH/World.cfg and set "B:ReplaceVanillaGeneration=false". I also had trouble with Mojang screen stuck with a white screen when I updated modpack. I was able to fix that by setting the launcher to install to a new folder (deleting the Tekkit mod folder didn't help). And I noticed the "Basic Circuit 8984" requires "Copper Wire" in the recipe but that does not exist so NEI shows "Unnamed 149" in the recipe.
  12. Don't use conductive pipe use redstone energy conduit. The gold conductive pipe is buggy and can't handle very much power. Also be sure to hit the input ends of the conduit with a wrench to change it from a output connection to a input connection(orange).

  14. Damn we have a lot of myst stuff going on in my world. We have a all lava world a stable dense ore world and even a portal room for traveling between worlds that requires a myst world to get to. But i want to try this new stuff so bad.
  15. So glad to hear they fixed the redstone energy cell recipe. Sadly i am still afraid to upgrade to 1.1.0 but looking foreword to it. Also its not filling the cell's or anything like that it is just a basic combination recipe that doesn't work. I actually have the cells fill automatically and same with the conduit and all my tesseracts are fully auto crafted. It just seems like AE can't do a combine with "energy cell frame full".
  16. Just got around to doing mine last night. I have a interface on top and set that to the input (blue for both slots) and one export bus on the back set to empty both slots (orange?). I pre-loaded the induction furnace with 1 obsidian and 1 pulverized lead in hopes that those will always stay there and make sure everything goes to the right slot. In the interface i have a pattern? for 2 pulverized obsidian and one pulverized lead to make 2 harddend glass. Been working great for me. If you are still having trouble check out your crafting monitor because the problem might be somewhere else (like redstone settings or power...)

  19. I use dimensional doors to go back and forth from my nether base and the overworld. Its faster smaller and you can put the doors anywhere.
  20. Not sure i understand the question correctly, but have you looked in to ME Dark Cable? Put a lever to power the cable and it will turn off. Can use it to shut off parts of your network to save power.
  21. Glad it worked. Also thought i should add that i just make all my quarry's in the ocean so its not such a eyesore/pitfall trap. This also helps to turn the lava into obsidian so you quarry doesn't shutoff before it hits bedrock. Also to check your quarry depth when in the ocean i use torches on the wall to create air pockets so i can breath (place torch breath of air torch breaks and pickup torch). Then later there is a mod for the power armor head piece that will allow you to see through the water and look for bedrock.
  22. I used the energy shielding instead of the iron plating and i never ran into this problem. I also never tried out the glider, wonder if that is also effecting your weight or functionality of the jet pack.
  23. Need to have some sort of power storage installed in your armor or grab a charged redstone energy cell. Also there are adjustable sliders for your modals that you could try turning up.
