  1. Well, Tekkit Lite does not use MC 1.7.2 - it uses MC 1.4.7.
  2. ty so much - because I don't know the recipes and just want to see them in game and not in a browser :o
  3. Thanks - anyone know how to add them back in? :(
  4. Forgive me I didn't know where else to post this tbh - I am unable to see any of the Immibis Microblocks in the NEI interface - yes, I have checked, double checked, triple checked all of the item subsets and nothing is turned off - nor are the microblocks listed in any of the subsets. I only noticed this problem when I updated to 1.1.7 (heck, I don't even know if this has always existed on tekkit for me) - but, now I'm trying to use microblocks and don't know the recipes for them. I have removed the tekkitmain folder and reinstalled the tekkit modpack - did not work. Anyone know anything about this? I have tried to craft the most basic thing I know with the handsaw/stone block and it does craft microblocks. Thanks
  5. Great server - brand new - open land - not many people on it so far - amazing start area/mall - amazing ping/no lag - live in US...
  6. IGN (In Game Name): ubLightHero Age (Optional): 32 Why are you looking to join the server? What can you bring to the server?: I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment and have been looking for a new server to join. I have been played Tekkit Classic and have moved on to Tekkit lite. I have an extreme amount of knowledge of how to work the majority of the mods in this modpack work - including MFR, AE, IC2, BC, and TE. Tell me about your play style? (i.e: How long have you been playing minecraft/tekkit? What types of things do you like to do?): I enjoy assisting people with their projects/setups so that they have a fun time playing. I love to go mining (even after quarries are setup, especially in the nether) and collecct resources - discover caves and scenarios to build in. I enjoy setting up multiple "factories" to produce more resources, power, and autocrafting. After that, I like to 'beautify' the area around me and expand my borders Tell me a bit about yourself?: Friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. I have no problems parting with resources for the greater cause - I just go out and get more! I am yearning to find a small team of players to quickly get things accomplished.
  7. AND - some people just can't get in at all.
  8. Ya - at the same time - it seems I am the only one not getting "kicked" off *YET*
  9. Also try deleting the cache folder - You may have 2: (Win7/Vista) - Start - in the search area at the bottom type in %appdata% and hit enter open .technic folder IF there is a cache folder there, delete it. Open up Tekkitlite and delete the cache folder in there
  10. I hope you meant java 7 I am noticing rather strange things happening. I thought maybe because I was new to the server - that it may have something to do with that. But, I also see plenty of people joining that it shows they are new and disconnecting. So far, there's 3 people that are able to stay on the server :(
  11. Hmmm....I'm still logged in with no issues atm. Perhaps resetting your pack would help. Make sure you also have an updated version of java just to eliminate all possibilities.
  12. Give us feedback on the direct connection please :)
  13. For those having issues logging in - try using Direct Connect - my brother and I always have some problems with "adding server" and joining that way - but, when we use the direct connect option, it allows my brother on my server. So, try using Direct connection via the IP:port
  14. Username: ubLightHero Age: 32 Why Tekkitopia? This will be my first server to actually play on. I'm looking for a peaceful server to build without griefers and unwanted conduct. I enjoy building/mining/exploring and creating whatever I desire without worries. It would be nice to play with and share with others to complete alike goals. Your secret code: 11ubL
  15. Ok, so, this is what you typed: "I understand why you are crying about IC2 being gone." This is what I hear: "I have no idea why you're talking about IC2 being gone and would like to know." Perhaps you should re-read what I typed. It really has nothing to do with bringing IC2 back per-say. I said I liked some of the features of IC2 and am hoping that the devs will implement additional power options, as they have stated in the forums that they are going to. So, don't say you understand when in reality, you really don't. I actually sense an attitude in your post, tbh. So, let's talk about some positive things, eh? You mentioned gazillion options for power. I know of the BC engines and the magmatic/steam engine. Can you please tell me what other options there are? I currently use magmatic engines and combustion engines with fuel (I'll go bio-fuel later - I hear it's better). What should I look at next? Lemme mention this again because I don't think you caught it in my previous post even though I posted it a bit....I don't care that IC2 is gone. I just want a void filled. Again....I'm glad Lemmings posted that he was working on something of the sort as well....
  16. I see a lot of talk about "free power" and not doing anything. Perhaps it was just when I sucked at auto-crafting, but, it took me forever to just make a MV solar array; and that wasn't enough power to run much...not to mention the tons of materials it took to make it. I didn't just start making solar power right off the bat. In fact, on my tekkit-lite server (I only play with like 5 people; family) we had all the power generation mods in use....fuel from BC, nuclear reactor, solar arrays, etc. We used it all because it was fun to setup. I think that's the point from Aurrin. There's talk about choices...what real choices do we have on which power? It appears linear. I'm not trying to say "bring back free power or bring back IC2". I'm really looking foward to the future of Tekkit and power options. I think we are just crying for new toys to play with, and, we are upset (we = the ones who liked IC2 power) that not only do we not have newer toys (power) from tekkit lite, but, some power options have been taken away. Again, I know the mod devs are going to do great with new power options in the future, so please don't take anything stated in this post as a complaint. I'm just trying to explain to those who didn't understand why some are crying about IC2 going away. I don't know how this could be incorporated, but, how about some sort more machines that could create components that you need to make more advanced power. That way, it takes as long as devs decide to make certain components to better power. Here's an example (Sorry, solar panel was the only "OP" power source I could think of and stated in this posting) Say you need 4 components. You could have 1 machine designed to make 1 of those components and it takes 2 minutes in a machine with power to make. Another machine takes that component and upgrades it to be used in the recipe that is required for a solar panel and that takes 5 minutes, and another component etc etc etc....You could easily designate X power and X time it takes to make some sort of good power supply. At the same time, you can also have a way to "automate" the mundane maintenance task and I would be happy. (It seems that Lemmings has something similar in mind). I must admit, I was unhappy with the new tekkit launch not having power setups that I was used to and enjoyed as in Tekkit lite. I tried my hardest for a while now to enjoy using BC power. Yes, I know how to set it up; yes it is setup, yes it is automated...I just feel like I'm missing out on things. I might be to the point where I do go back to the Tekkit lite *UNTIL* further power options/endgame goals are decided and chosen in Tekkit lite. And again, I am looking forward to that! Thanks devs for continuing to improve the modpack to make it fun for us! :)
  17. I just want some way of making some machine or whatever, to turn my millions of cobblestone from quarries into something useful. I'm aware that I could just dump the trash into a lava pit just to get rid of it, but, seems like work to get nothing in return at least IC2 (which I'm not complaining it's gone, it just had some cool features) had a machine that used a massive amount of power (only fair I guess) to turn 1 item that really won't be used at all into another. I'll tell you what though, those igneous extruders are a cheat itself lol. An automated machine that can turn lava/water into obsidian. You can than use minium stones to turn that into your choice of iron/gold/diamond. There's your EE2 for a limited amount of useful items, however, it takes a little more work than EE2.
  18. what if you had that many quarries? insane. btw, what exactly is the max coordinates on maps? I haven't tried anything over 50k...guess I should.
  19. IC2 was a great sink for all resources....UU matter OP. So....glad we have 8mil cobblestone with nothing to do with it :(
