Given how much has changed here in the last 4 months, I think you probably stopped trying for quite some time, and then counted that time as elapsed anyway. The thing about bugs is that they're only bugs for you - most of the people that use the launcher seem to be running it just fine. Make quality posts (and stop double-posting - there's an edit button), and try to make them more readable, and your keller will be gone in no time. :)

http://prntscr.com/da4t5 Cant get on
Torezu replied to LoveTheDiamonds's question in Technic Launcher
Thread recycling has a natural flow to it - it can't really be forced unless someone is creative enough to work a topic into it quietly. Besides, I think this thread is unredeemable. Closed. -
No worries on the birthday - everyone's 112 here. As to the status, you can bring it up again when you've demonstrated that you've a quality posting record. The thread you have going right now with the bug report is not the best way to go about doing that.

You shouldn't be running the .jar with the Web Start launcher...you should be running it with JRE7. Have you tried using a batch file to run it?
-
The Launcher doesn't work/display properly (or as intended)
Torezu replied to Evenio's question in Technic Launcher
Have you tried running it with a batch file, just to see if there are errors or something? There's a batch file in the server files that you could edit, if you're unfamiliar enough to create your own. -
Read this, like you should have done to begin with. You wouldn't even have posted, most likely.

Unfortunately, YogBox has been deprecated and is no longer supported by the launcher site, as it is not being maintained. However, I can tell you that this has to do with MineColony block IDs, and if you can either get that resolved or disable MineColony, it should work fine.

NEEDS A NEW FORGE TO CONNECT TO TEKKIT SERVERS
Torezu replied to gamecube37's question in Technic Launcher
Couldn't have said it better myself. -
I would, but you completely failed to fill out a bug report form. I'd suggest going and doing that, then copying the necessary pictures/info over, and requesting this thread be closed. It's either that, or you can edit the OP here with the bug report form, but that's probably more of a pain.

It says 'Illegal characters in path' when i try to open it
Torezu replied to evbroman's question in Technic Launcher
Yeah, I merged 5 posts in a row. Don't spam your own thread. There's an edit button for a reason. Oh, and no, no one's going to email you their .techniclauncher folder, even if it were entirely legal, which I'm pretty sure it's not, as there are Minecraft files in there. -
DokuCraft texture pack for Tekkit! - [20%]

Xylord is correct - there is a place for this stuff. It's not here. Closing thread. -

Will Tekkit Be Updated in time for MC1.3?
Torezu replied to ELIT3_Ryan's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
I actually laughed twice at this post. Once was due to a slip. I bolded the spots. -
This isn't the place for error reports.

how do I make my server so my friend can get on it
Torezu replied to noobie's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Guys? He's gone for a while. I mean, I guess he could look at this thread without logging in, but...let's just say he was acting a little too dumb to stay here, and needed to take some time off. -
Once you run the launch.bat, it will generate the server.properties file, then you can just shut down the server and configure it. If you want a different world name, just change both the directory name for "world" and the name inside the properties file. As to the "Java is not recognized" error, either add the full java.exe path to the batch file, or add Java to your system path variable. Google how to do either.

Last I checked, divining rods do not use fuel, and have a smaller area than OD or OV scanners.
-
There's a config file called EE_mod.props in your server's root directory. You can shut off all sorts of things in there.
-
No, the client side gets the version-matching client file. Edit: What he said. ^

That'll get you far. :)

This may be true, but you also have to consider the astronomical amount of power UU-matter takes to make, not to mention the expensive machinery. If there's a 1% chance for a diamond (I don't know what it is tbh), you'll need 900 scrap per, but you'll also get some other useful stuff, and things you can recycle to make...more scrap. UU-matter it would take about a third that in scrap (306 per diamond), but also 1.5 million EU. At 35 EU/scrap...even that 600 scrap difference means...basically nothing.

white screen after spawn in a world!
Torezu replied to Asgernohns's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
This is the wrong section, and I'm pretty sure you didn't bother touching the search bar, or you would have noticed the other people asking this. Go into Video Options and adjust your Render Distance setting to suit. -
Fixed that. Those of us who never tried to swim in the pool of...something that is the Minecraft Forums didn't lose all our brain cells.
