  1. Extra copies of Java left laying around can cause this, too. I'd get rid of all of those, reboot, and try again.
  2. This is the first time, I think, this has been posted on this board, at least in the last few months, so it can't be that common. Have you tried copying the one you got from them and overwriting the one in the .techniclauncher folder? At least, if you're referring to a minecraft.jar, there is one in there.
  3. Clear your cache and reinstall. If that doesn't work, try posting in the right section next time.
  4. This post is deep. You may want to edit it so people know who you're talking about.
  5. Somebody may have moved this thread without saying so, because this isn't the programmer's section...
  6. What are you trying to use it for? There are a whole, whole bunch of econ plugins.
  7. Delete your railcraft.dat file. I'm guessing your world got a bit corrupted by the crashes. Also, yes, this is the wrong section. You want the Tekkit Bug Board.
  8. Anyone can read it, but it's really the best place for server owners to exchange info, as Kaker's post above indicates.
  9. *Twitch* Cut it out with the run-ons. It makes your posts hard to read and understand. You don't have the right launcher version, or OS, and I don't think Virgin Media is an antivirus, unless I'm way out of the loop. Try again.
  10. Did you miss the Tekkit Bug Board section?
  11. Blackbook's thread - Blackbook's rules. If you want to discuss something unrelated to the OP and he doesn't want you to, please go elsewhere.
  12. Try updating graphics card drivers.
  13. This...is a launcher or Tekkit bug, depending on whether you're trying to run the launcher or server .jar, not a Technic Bug. Yes, I know it says Tekkit.jar in your path, but...I thought you might be using the batch file that comes with the server software to run the launcher. Repost in the appropriate section, please.
  14. What's wrong is that you didn't look in the Tekkit Bug Board. Go check it.
  15. Where did I say you were a hacker? I was responding to your question by informing you that it's illegal because it contains Minecraft files, which you are not allowed to distribute. And really, reporting me? It doesn't do you much good.
  16. Modloader.cfg should let you disable it. Resolving it means going into the MineColony config file and changing block IDs around to find one that works. I'm not familiar enough with the process to provide directions, unfortunately.
  17. I thought it was merely a seam, a spot where 2 passwords are merged together. Your friends aren't even worth a whole password, I guess.

    Ugocraft?

I agree. It would be awesome. You would just have pipe and wiring errors all over the place, I have the feeling.
  19. Moderator where? Mojang? Or are you using a cracked launcher for Minecraft?
  20. You should get rid of AVG, and replace it with something that works.
  21. Do you have an antivirus running? If so, what is it?
  22. Honestly, the advanced machines run so fast when they're spun up all the way that they almost never need overclockers. I use 4-6 of each advanced macerator and furnace and I can process about 30-40 stacks of ore in maybe 10 minutes, moving them manually. It's even easier if you have tubes to shuffle stuff around.

    cant play

This post is like asking someone if they'll mow your lawn, and then when you ask to use their lawn mower to do it, they say, "Well, I have one, but it's locked in the shed. Sorry."
  24. Strangest error I've seen. That's not a launcher version, though...that's a Tekkit version. Are you in the launcher already, and trying to run Tekkit? Also, have you gone through the list of COMMON PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS and tried what you can to make sure everything's updated and working correctly?
  25. This or the Encyclopedia section will do for your questions. The launcher pulls its own copy of Minecraft, and does not use the .minecraft folder, so you are welcome to mod it up as much as you want. There are even a few threads in the General Technic SSP section for mod packs that do just that. Mo' Creatures likes to stick its config file in your .minecraft folder from the .techniclauncher folder when you change configurations in-game. I would imagine that's just how it's programmed. I would recommend leaving it, unless you plan on modding your regular Minecraft, then it's safe to move it to the .techniclauncher folder, at least if you keep the configs the same between the two.
