  1. Why would they necessarily be useless in SMP? Small numbers of players can still agree to sleep and accelerate the game. It just might break the weaker servers, is all. :)
  2. Did someone use /reload on the server? That'll break mod item crafting.
  3. 1) Don't bump your posts unless you have new information. 2) Post your launcher log. If you made it past the launcher window appearing and you hit login, it will have made a log.
  4. You have your .jar files linked to WinRAR. Right-click on it and hit 'Open with Java' instead.
  5. At least you posted in the right section, but the rest of your bug report is so much garbage. Go read this, like you should have before you posted.
  6. Not likely. There are so many block ID changes and mod updates that your world would be borked anyway. Either NEI the stuff you really want to keep in, or just start over.
  7. You...seem to have broken everything. I suggest the Scribble Parlour - there are premade texture packs for this purpose. Also, OptiFine Standard.
  8. Blueprints are in .techniclauncher\tekkit\buildcraft\blueprints, if you're playing with Tekkit.
  9. Get your own bug report, and maybe.
  10. Info files are information for other mods, such as NEI, like recipes, I think. Invisible mobs means you didn't use the right files for the client, or you didn't put them in the right spots.
  11. Check the server log to see whether it's coming up, then. That's exactly what I did.
  12. You're searching for "mfc" in the search bar at the bottom, which doesn't exist on any items/blocks in the NEI list. So, it disappears your entire list.
  13. Mo' Creatures doesn't make any changes to the map, nor does Balkon's Weapon Mod. Equivalent Exchange makes no map changes, but it does have new block IDs. That's also true of RailCraft, Ender Chest (Ender Storage), Wireless Redstone, ComputerCraft, and the Iron Chest mod.
  14. Looks like a Windows 7 popup to me. Of course, appearances can be deceiving. What do the Details say?
  15. When someone actually reports you for excessive use of the . key, you may want to...use it with a little less enthusiasm, yes?

    IC2 wrench

Yes. It works much better in person, though - it's just that typed words don't have a sarcastic tone, so if I don't know the person typing them quite well, I don't often catch it. Note: If you're using lossless mode a lot, you'll want a lappack, or at least a batpack.
  17. Use a BuildCraft wrench (made with an iron gear iirc) to change the direction of the iron pipe.
  18. OP: If you want any more help, a picture would be good.
  19. New log, then. Something's up with your installation/system.
  20. Help would be in the Questions site or the Tekkit Bug Board.
  21. Depends on what it is. If it's AVG, I'd get rid of it entirely. If it's Norton, McAfee, or maybe Avira, you can probably keep it but I'd disable it while you're downloading. MSE and Avast! are fine.
  22. There's a modpack.jar in the .techniclauncher\tekkit\bin folder. That's where it goes. The main minecraft.jar and the one in the bin folder should not get touched. You should not have to do anything but drop the files in modpack.jar.
  23. So...what was in that last set of items that made it crash? Also, where is your launcher log?
  24. Ah. Then the download didn't work correctly. The usual culprits are antivirus/firewall software, Java not being updated, and just crappy luck because servers are down. You said this: "Though when connected to the internet, my Tekkit works fine through my app launcher or .jar." and I was confused.

    Java 64bit

I could, but it's easier to use the one in the server files and modify it. The server's fairly small. It'll look something like: java -jar technic-launcher.jar pause You can also use the whole java path, like so (or something similar): "c:\program files\java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -jar technic-launcher.jar pause
