Those are normal error messages and can be ignored. Try bone-mealing grass. If that doesn't work, something else is messed up.

At this point, since NullPointerExceptions are hard to nail down (at least for me, who doesn't know Java), I'd recommend a Tekkit reinstall. Save your waypoints (rei_minimap folder), and just delete your entire Tekkit folder. If that still doesn't work, and this is your server, go delete your player.dat file from the server files. You'll lose your inventory and XP, but you'll be able to play, most likely. If it isn't your server, you'll have to work something out with a server admin to do that. I don't know what other advice to give.

Gravel can hang from the ceiling. I honestly don't know what the cause of this is, as I've only seen it on my personal server once, and it went away on its own after a couple days.

The flying/repelling are no longer free to use, effective as of Tekkit 3.1.1 that I've seen. It's probably been burning fuel from your inventory to fly.

I'm not familiar with Macs, but there should be an inventory editor available that doesn't require you to be in-game to use it. That's all your log shows - an inventory spawner issue.

MultiCraft is weird about server issues. I remember something about removing the message speed limit on the console, but I don't know where I saw it or how to do it, since I've never used MultiCraft.

I'm inclined to agree with this, unless, as Moogle says, people are willing to help you. Bear in mind that red matter just got more expensive. It used to be 25 diamonds in value, now it's 57.

It's barely into the alpha stage, so I highly doubt it will make its way into Technic or Tekkit before MC1.4 and the mod API, unless Azanor is...very industrious.

Huh? Wrong issue. OP, wrong section. We need more info. Try the Submit a Bug Report button, or just look through the Tekkit Bug Board for your issue and error log.

Then delete the mods from your .techniclauncher\tekkit\mods folder and don't allow it to update. It will ask every time you run the launcher.

You have serious lag issues, probably. The item you're digging will show up as smooth stone if the server isn't correctly transmitting the block ID. Also, don't sign your posts.
