  1. You have a few typos, you're missing a little bit of information, and you have a bunch of centered text. Otherwise, it looks good, but I can't approve until it's fixed.
  2. Fair warning: Don't post in there. No one will read them, and you'll just get more frustrated. However, the fix for the most commonly reported problem with the "final" version of YogBox is still in there as a sticky.
  3. You need a version in your thread title. Please fix it.
  4. Thermal Expansion 2.0+ is for MC 1.4+, last I checked. That means you would need to install the dev. build of Technic for MC 1.4.2, which as Jorcer said is a bit buggy at the moment. That's why it's a dev. build. Rest assured that Thermal Expansion is a cool enough mod that the new versions of Technic are almost guaranteed to include it - it's just a matter of having some patience, and playing it stand-alone or figuring out how to integrate it yourself if you can't find an answer.
  5. Assuming you're on a laptop, which is the only place they cause problems that I've seen, you go into the NVIDIA Control Panel and change the 3d Settings to make Java, the Launcher, and Minecraft (just for fun, all 3, yes) use the "High-Performance NVIDIA processor".
  6. You know what type of card it is? A Mobile one. That's because laptops tend to have integrated graphics as well, and Java defaults to using those. It's not really the NVidia card, then; it's the fact that Java's stupid.
  7. You just found out about it because you didn't read the rules before posting, and you don't have permission to post because there's a button to help you fill out the report and post that way instead. Use your eyes, man!
  8. Shhhh. It's a secret.
  9. Done. Well, Cheap Shot did it.
  10. Stuck a message on the mod board. Admin powers only for your sort. That's not early removal. If an admin doesn't do it, you're stuck there forever. And, as I said, mods can't do it, since it's a manual avatar change. I'm guessing that sort of power comes with too much temptation to give it to a mere moderator.
  11. I was talking to you. Just report it next time. Don't continue the necromancy.

    Permissions?

Please go visit one of the other threads on this subject. We have enough already. Meeting the terms means having the support, implied or otherwise. The reason there's no permissions thread is that one is not necessary, since interaction between pack assemblers and modders shouldn't need to be public, as stated by the site admins repeatedly. End of thread.
  13. Given the genuine effort that went into the OP, I will move this thread instead of banning for putting a mod pack bug in the launcher bug board. And yes, listen to jonjon.
  14. Someone check the post dates before responding next time...

    Can't log in

These two statements are contradictory. You can't have a correct email/username if you don't own Minecraft. Technic/Tekkit are not available for the trial version.
  16. YogBox isn't really supported anywhere any more, because it's not being updated, and it's fairly glitchy. I suggest finding a different mod pack, and adding the mods you want.
  17. Read this. Pay particular attention to the last sentence/paragraph of the first post.
  18. Sort of. It's not really a bug, as all it does is display a message that you can safely ignore until it goes away. Sometimes we just like to for the entertainment.
  19. Just report it. This comment was unnecessary.
  20. The minecraft.net authentication (multiplayer) servers are down. You will not be able to connect to any active/online servers until service resumes. See here for a status update.
  21. Next time I would stop here. If they get to the right place, they'll hopefully give the right information. If they don't, that's when you can ask for more. Letting people think for themselves is something we encourage around here.
  22. There's a recruitment thread at the top of the section. Use it.
  23. It sure is! ;)
  24. It's nice to see a well-integrated set of custom biomes, but lack of access to the nether means some things like blaze rods, nether brick, netherrack and soul sand, and massive quantities of lava are a lot harder or impossible to find. The giant forests and biome-specific resources help with some sense that there's variation in the biomes - something Minecraft didn't ever really do. The donation stuff is nice to have without making it so overpowered that a donator can suddenly rule the server. It's also kind of expensive, so the benefits have to be rather obvious to justify the cost. Running a server isn't cheap, though. Spawn is clean and relatively complete, but not so enormous that you have to wander for an hour to get out. Some more direction signs might help.
  25. Only 3? Your glasses may be affecting your vision. You missed at least one "dose" of duck for this "woeld".
