I will not presume to speak for him, but to my knowledge he never made the permissions issue with Technic public, nor did he ever encourage it to continue to be public after crap was brought up. All he said here is that if you're going to make (inherently negative) public accusations, provide proof. No hypocrisy whatsoever.

Where did Technic permissions come into this discussion? The Technic team's position on mod permissions has been given, many times: work with the modders in private. This, however, was made a very public thread and issue, so there should be public evidence.

You're one to talk. You broke it. But no, it really doesn't. Kitty Jail was never about posting all the stupid crap you wanted - it was a thread to contain multiple topics in random order. So, people are just going to have to learn how not to derail now.

This assumes it's the same version of Minecraft as the original seed, or at least that there haven't been any changes to seed programming since the world was created/updated. Be careful with this. You may get cliff walls in strange places.

I don't think there's too much danger of that unless Mojang goes and does something like changing programming languages or what-not. The Technic team's method is usually the way I and my friends work as well, unless we're playing with Towny and can't really separate easily. It's just beneficial to share stuff like machines early on, but later you tend to have so much in the way of resources that you don't need to share any more.

Your Java version is practically an antique. I'd update that before trying anything else. Then go into .techniclauncher\tekkit\bin\natives and delete the two files that start with OpenAL, if that doesn't work. Finally, use the Edit button.

You need to post a launcher log. If you don't have one, I'm guessing you have a Java prioritization problem, which is only mentioned about 5 times a day here.

If it's outside the spawn, yes. You would need some kind of locking plugin (WorldGuard, LWC, Towny, Lockette, etc., etc...) to prevent that from happening.

Did you migrate your account to Mojang instead of just Minecraft and now need to use your email instead of your login name? I've heard of that happening. Otherwise, it could very well be your antivirus. I realize you don't think it's the issue, but new versions of the same program (the launcher, in this case) can cause AVs to go spastic on you. Try disabling it for the short time it takes to download/log in.

I would consider making a video, if this were the case. I don't really want to have a server hosted for me.

That would be its instability in a multiplayer environment, as well as issues with Forge version compatibility (that last one I'm not so certain about).

This is a GUI Scale issue. Try changing the GUI size and see if it appears.

It is never going to be a problem to double post when you fix your own problem and post how you did it. We encourage that.
