You used a rollback tool that doesn't take damage/sub-item numbers into account. Unfortunately, you now have two options: break all of them by hand and hope they don't crash your server, or use a map-editing tool to remove all the existing pipes and creative mode or something to replace them. Also, this is something of a bug, or possibly a request for server help, so it doesn't really belong here.

[3.1.2] Kingdom of Freaks [24/7][Anti-Grief][EE][Multiworld][Ranks]
Torezu replied to Axle's topic in Open Servers
Dropbox doesn't make a good picture host. Why don't you go ahead and fix that. -
Well, that degenerated quickly. /thread.

Somewhere...around here...there was a...ah! Here it is!

Just ask, we'll tell you. In the meantime, most warnings have an auto-conversation-message that goes with them. Some of them are amusing.

I have two vehicles. One of them has 50,000 more miles on it than the other, yet I fully expect it to last longer. Lesson for life: sometimes two things that appear similar or even the same, aren't.

Clearly it doesn't.

Feed the beast! No matches ongoing right now

This thread is dead. -
Java, as a process, tries to use as much RAM as you allow it to (with the command line or launcher configuration). If, however, you assign it more than you have free (not total), it will default to the minimum allocation, which I believe is 247.5 MB. Try telling it through the launcher that it can use 512MB, or manually edit the launcher config file to give it 768 if you're convinced you have that much free.

What part of "very carefully" was unclear? Are you trying to tell me you completely skipped the question with the longest answer on the list?
-
Read this thread, which by the way is a sticky at the top of the board you posted in, very carefully.

You are aware that Tekkit Classic is for MC 1.2.5, and will always be for MC 1.2.5, right? There's no mod maker that's going to update their mod for MC 1.2.5, because it's pointless and probably time-consuming to do so. Also, This.

Moved to Voltz Discussion where it belongs.

He's referring to the fact that the author of OptiFine has specifically prohibited it from being included in any mod pack. However, it's very easy to install it yourself, and I believe a well-made mod still deserves recognition. It stays where it is unless one of the admins says otherwise.

Allow me to dissect your first post, ignoring all the others, since that's what you did in your responses to most of the posts in this thread. I will assume by this statement that you are aware of how to make a mod pack. Please enlighten us as to which one you have personally worked on, or which one you have at least experienced that does not have the same level of bugginess or worse. I will also assume that you have descriptions, evidence, or at least mention of such major bugs. Please present it. Again, please give examples. I have yet to see an example of a long period of time between updates after a new MC version and all the mods have been updated, bug-fixed, and ported as needed. You are aware that all of those things have to be done, right? I can't find a record of such attempts, since this appears to be a new forum account. Please provide an example or two of the problems and the interaction with staff. Quit bringing up permissions. It's been hashed and re-hashed way too many times to mean anything, as you would know if you'd read the ongoing story that's been publicly posted here in various places. The Technic team has permissions for the mods that are in new versions of the mod packs, and this particular subject should stay in the past where it belongs. End of story. Do you truly believe you have more perseverance than the volunteer staff here, and would sign up for as many accounts as needed to keep this post up, if we wanted it gone? You're funny. It's not that we don't like what you're saying. It's that we don't care about what you're saying, since all (100%, everything) of the content in it is generalizations, ad hominem attacks, and unsupported rat droppings. This is a command. You have tried to state (I'm going to stop ignoring the rest of the thread here) that it's a request, but it's worded exactly like a command, so people treat it as if it were. In making this a public post instead of private communication, you have opened it up to a response from anyone that feels like posting here. As for the second part of this quote, I am not interested in being defended by anyone, let alone have someone perform sexual acts as a means of that defense. I'm happily married, thanks. Edit: Major mod pack bugs, other mod packs without such dupe bugs, extremely long lead times, and other large-scale problems you have mentioned do not belong in the category of "word of mouth things that do not have references". Look them up. You have issued a major indictment of the Technic team in general, and you are expected to provide concrete evidence if you want anyone to take you seriously. It's just like real life. Now, if you would be so kind as to provide the above-requested evidence, we can proceed with providing (and improving over time) a useful service for the entertainment of Minecraft players, instead of answering entitled brats with superiority complexes, such as yourself.

It would be more sct's or possibly IceWolf's domain, since it's site management we're talking about. Who knows? It's really not necessary, I don't think. Someone's usually aware if/when they broke a rule, and really aware if they broke enough rules to get kellered/banned.

OP, fix your post. This is a server section. Treat it as though your post would have to go through moderation first. I wouldn't have taken this. Also, PM a mod or report your post with the new title, including version number.
-
This. No. There's a bug board for a reason, and a report format for a reason.
-
If, on the other hand, it gets noticed first...
-
Yes. You didn't ask if there was a way for you to see it. All yours are expired, the last ones mid-December.
-
Your Java is broken. Try reinstalling it.

Tekkit Lite Server Admin & Builder Recruitment
Torezu replied to HideAwayDK's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
The place you're looking for is either one of the server sections for an actual server post (in which you can advertise for admin/builders) or the Small Scale Recruitment thread in the appropriate discussion section, if you don't have a server post ready.
