You missed the fact that this is a Tekkit bug on the Launcher Bug Board. Bad!

Double-check your Java version to make sure it's 64-bit. That'll cause white-screen errors, among other things.

This bug report is almost 2 months old. Do you really think he/she still needs help?

I think it's more that those are interdisciplinary classes that happen to cross with mechanical a lot. Purely Mechanical Engineering classes are more in the range of Statics, Dynamics, and Mechanics of Materials (which I'm sure nuke program classes at least touch).

What's so special about Mechanical over, say, Civil or Chemical?

Technic is composed of, in addition to or instead of the mods in Tekkit that will function together for multiplayer, mods that are either written only for single-player, or will not function on an MP server. In other words, Technic = SP (single-player) only, Tekkit = SP or MP, but designed for MP. Edit: SG types more simply and therefore more quickly, which is funny, because I'm a mechanical engineer and he's a nuclear engineer.

Only maybe, though it would be nice. The most likely of the possible causes is an incorrect or incomplete install of the .NET Framework (Microsoft), but a crappy Java install will do similar things.

Moved to the Tekkit Bug Board where it should have been. Now you just need to edit the OP with a correct Tekkit version, bit version of both Windows and Java, and a launcher log.

PM an admin, like KakerMix, and politely ask for the kellering to be removed, as you received it before the forum change, so it will never expire. A moderator can do nothing for you.
