firewall and antvirus are off still cant download
Thoran replied to Mindwhiz's topic in Hexxit Discussion
then uninstall it, it might still be doing something in the background. I recommend Avast, good features and causes very little problem with games. -
! ! ! UPDATE ! ! ! Server Changelog as of 3.10.2013 - 12:00 GMT 1. The Server is now running Hexxit 1.0.7 so update to the recommended version 2. Thaumcraft and Thaumatic Tinkerer are still needed as is the config file change. Extract this zip in your Hexxit folder to make your client compatible: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8033167/MonkyDAddons.zip 3. The Nether had to be reset because of several bad chunks that i was unable to remove, I'm very sorry if you lost stuff you built over there.

Launcher Version and Firewall look good, can you also provide a screenshot of your AntiVirus or tell me which one and version you use? -
Press "o" to toggle NEI while you are in your inventory.

Try again later, this might be temporary. If it still doesn't work in 24 hours write back and we'll figure out something. -
You are using a 4 year old Java version, how do you expect that to work? solution: goto http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/page-3 read my "@Rekalty:" post
-
@DJSoulRay0: Please follow my guide on how to post the error log here, Rekalty did it right. As for your problem: Most likely the crash is caused by a corrupt inventory. Ask the server admin to delete your player save file. @Rekalty: Your Java is out of date and cannot handle MC. Update it from here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre7-downloads-1880261.html you need "jre-7u40-windows-x64.exe"

@velvetgeisha: lwjgl is bugging out, try resetting or manually deleting Hexxit, the guide on first page describes how.

1. Don't make a base that can burn. 2. Next time an unbeatable mob appears just run. Mobs will despawn after some time if you are out of range, so just leave your base for a few minutes, he should be gone after that. 3. If you post your crashlog we might be able to help recover the world. How to post the Crashlog is in 4. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/

read my post, manual deletion is also covered in the link.

Did you edit some of the config files? You can try resetting your modpack, infos here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/
-
Uninstall Java, reboot PC, reinstall the latest 64bit Java and reboot again. See how that goes. The reboots might not be necessary but they will make sure all old files are removed propperly.
-
So many problems, so little to do with Hexxit or Minecraft. You have 8GB RAM and 64bit Ubuntu but you are running a Windows XP VM, only 32bit and Hexxit of cause only gets 1GB of RAM. Can you see the problem? Its the VM. Why are you running Hexxit in a Windows VM thats only 32bit? The beauty of Java is it's Operating System independant. Just run Hexxit natively in Ubuntu, no need to throw in that old Windows.
-
Are you running Hexxit on your smart phone? Because 2GB Sony isn't a pc operating system and Latest isn't a Java Version. Anyway, my guess is NEI got corrupted and you need to reset it. Either delete NEI in your mods folder and download the propper version from minecraftforums or reset your modpack. Details here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/

If you have 2GB or more of RAM and a 64bit CPU make sure you have the latest 64bit Java installed. Make sure to also give Hexxit the propper RAM and have PermGen turned on, details on that here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/

I'm not aware of any mod that does that. If you don't want to wait, don't wait. Just breed your cows, work on your house or something and come back later.

Did you check your Graphic settings? Maybe something is now higher on default or you lowered it before.

How are people fixing the crashes on chunk loading?
Thoran replied to d24man's topic in Hexxit Discussion
We don't, we have stable servers. Mine only started getting unstable when I added Archimedes Ships. What hardware is the server running on and what are your launch settings? -
How do i solve the Internal Server Error
Thoran replied to shadowflameG's topic in Hexxit Discussion
Both of you please read http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technical-problems-we-can-fix-that.50935/ and reply if it worked or not. -
Shadowflame: See if CanVox post in http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/random-server-crashes-cannot-login-anymore.49582/ that might help
-
@Xegaj: your Logfile confuses me, it sais 1GB allocated and no PermGen set. JVM Flags: 1 total; -Xmx1024m Anyway, I'm out of ideas. Maybe try getting some help in the Bug Forum: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/hexxit-bug-board.94/ @ElvenArcher: check out http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/possibly-a-hexxit-crash-fix-mac-but-is-prob-on-pc.49324/#post-423512 it might be the solution. If not, I have no idea. I don't have a MAC and can't test your problems on my PC.
