too many mods will over load a server.

I chose not having HD textures.
some people can't use them, and with that amount of mods, you would need a really powerful computer to take HD textures and all of those mods.

Whenever I created a background for my modpack, I always had issues with parts of the UI overlapping certain areas of it. If you're planning on having certain elements or parts visible to the user, then maybe this template will be useful. I just created it at so I can see what areas I should avoid putting text for example. Didn't take long, but thought I'd share it to save others time, but nothing impressive.
Pretty obvious, but:
- Black = Avoid
- Transparent = Visible

Well, I don't have bibliocraft, and there's nothing in the world...

i got a error:error downloading file for the following pack... on multiple modpacks i downloaded then tried working woth one of the modpacks again and then only that one works (i think i moved the modpack or something) i dont really know what this bug is but i tried going to where the modpack should be and it brought me to a dropbox page and it said error 404 cant find webpage your looking for.
what are you talking about?

iv got the same issue. iv been over my pack a couple times now and every thing seems ok. all my mods are 1.6.4 and so is my minecraft. idk take a look if you want.
its because what ever the hell you put into the modpack.jar was NOT forge.
dat is the forge you want.
just rename it modpack.jar and put it in your modpack's bin folder.

It's a zip but I don't know how to contact the mod developer. Is their a way to send him mail? Sorry for the questions I am new to this.
if the modpack author didn't say how to contact him, leave a post on the discussion part of the modpack post and hope the modpack author sees it.

This is a custom server. Not sure what is wrong. All help is greatly appreciated.
they changed some of the names of files on the forge site and added ".stach" to the files you need.

it's a bit slower than dropbox, but they won't lock your account for too many downloads.

there is a version number/letter next to the name.
change it to something else (doesn't matter what) and the new mods will download
