I believe there's a mod floating around somewhere that somewhat emulates equivalent exchange's EMC system... Don't seem to have a link at the moment, but I believe it is called "Minor Alchemy". You could look into that, or... I believe Pahimar is putting EMC or something similar back into equivalent exchange eventually.

Might want to look at that URL again, melfice. It seems to consist solely of [url=HTTP://[url=HTTP://[/code] ...and so on. So something went wrong. That said, I really do wish some of those things would turn up in the actual game... I certainly hope this prank isn't their way of saying they never will.

I think he's recently been on record as being mostly okay with tekkit... so probably not that different from his usual face? Maybe kind of surprised at the idea that a modpack ended up on a console.

You're going to be speechless if you're banned... for alt abuse? But it's because the Technic team have taken the time and effort to put a large assortment of good mods together in a manner that works without strange crashing. And I appreciate that. Because using Technic allows me to do things that are not available in the base game. Which is nice. Because this is the pack that got me back into modding for the first time since 1.7.3. Where I would have missed out on everything the community had to offer otherwise. Because it made the game seem worth playing again. And because it still does. If you seriously think your time is being put to good use in the manner you have used it in previous threads, perhaps you need to reconsider your priorities.

A ladder in the center of my house, straight down to the bottom of the world. Sort-of circular floors spaced along the way down. Branch mines formed on each of said floors. Not entirely efficient, I guess, but it takes up very little space. And the part of it that's in the dirt layers makes for a convenient farming site that won't get trampled by mobs... At least until I get to Industrialcraft crops that don't seem to like being underground too much.

I played classic for... an indeterminate period of time. I recall actually buying the alpha game shortly after the time Winter Mode went in... whenever that was. I believe I first fiddled with modding back in 1.7.3 with that one pack of mods the Painterly pack endorsed, and then completely forgot about modding until I discovered Technic. And then... well, here I am I guess.

Ah, yes. This is clearly the best method of doing it. We're discussing alternative methods though, since not everyone can convince their account to join a flock.

This also prevents your pre-migration account name from showing up by default (since it forgets that existed) - I had to do this before it would actually remember I'm trying to log in with my email and not with my account name.

You could say it's... an explosion of flavor. Personally, I'd like to see the ability to make stew or something out of some of those newfangled vegetables and some meat more than I'd like to see more pie (apple pie could be nice though...).

As Valkon said, Tekkit and Technic are currently 1.2.5. If you're wondering, a significant reason for this is that a number of the major mods in them are undergoing rather significant overhauls and have as such not yet updated. Just be patient and wait. It could be a while, but it will likely be worth it.
