hey beanut, I really cant belive more server owners don't go thru there configs files before going live. I discovered that too when I went thru configs. personally I agree, I think its way more exciting to track down all the hats and collect em. or give em out as prizes for hosted events. this modpak is so funny, espically the hats mod! Thanks for posting this though, hopefully some server owners will remove change there configs. The only thing I cant figure out in configs yet is how to lower the amount of ore that spawns. it spawns so easily, I would like to make ore a little harder to get.

yes, it does the same thing for me and everyone that joins my private server. you can even make the passive MOB a favorite to put into your '~' wheel to choose it faster. I can morph into a zombie or any hostile mob. but cant morph into passive mobs. though ive been on other servers and seen then morph into passive mobs. but on ours, everyone cant. I thought it was the configs. at first had made it so you don't auto morph the first time you kill the mob. I changed it back to the original config. and it still wont recognize Passive Mobs. Seems to do fine in a single player game though. I haven't tested to see if it does it on my test server, but I assume it will since the files from the test server are straight port to the live server.

ya, I kinda hate the this version of MCPC+ for the 1.6.4 MC dosnt seem to have an "auto restart if crash" like the one for the 1.5.2 does. - edit. im an idiot. It actually does, I just hadn't looked in the right config. file. chillax, My comment was deleted up there, so im going to say it again, for people to know. but In less words. -PAY TO PLAY - servers loose out in the long run. If you BAN MODS UNLESS YOU DONATE you turn a lot of people away. our group of 85 people decided not to go to your server because of that fact. I like your setup other than that.( we were hunting for a good server to join, and liked yours, but banned items unless you donate turned us all away.) also, the constant 'vote to get stuff' is a major annoyance in the chat. Maybe you could change it to only pop up every 1hr. instead of the 5 minutes it seems to pop up now. love your server overall, keep up the good work. good luck with your new venture into bteam!

hey guys, our group was wanting to join your server and check it out, I gave your IP to my group to have em go to ya'll (about 85 in our player base now) but a lot were saying they couldn't log on. it just showed ya'll as being offline. I checked this morning before going to work and it showed up as offline? is it still down, or is it just going thru a lot of restarts? Ive got my own server going now privately for our group to enjoy. but we'd like to come enjoy on your servers as well with everyone.

just wondering? cause im hearing about this a lot from ALOT of the bteam server owners. how do you know its ddos and not just server demand? BTEAM is so new, it seems to me that maybe your just getting overloaded with people wanting to join and its bogging down the server? I know a lot of the BTEAM servers are being overloaded with requests to join and getting lots of lag cause the server owners didn't expact to get 100 people on there 50 people server. Just wondering? I do thru a hosting service that offers DDOS protection. But, is there a way to track down the scource if you are being attacked?

So, I have a few I rather enjoy and it after testing, it looks like they work well the the mod. 1) essentials. (that's given) 2) trophy heads. (great for pvp. 3) battlarenas (this is great for a pvp server, considering flans mod ) 4) towny doesn't seem to work with explosion protection? im trying to find a good grief prevention plugin that holds its own against the mod. factions doesn't seem to work, towny doesn't seem to stop modd'ed explosions from happening. and greif prevention, well, it keeps crashing when I try to use that one. or there any you would recommend for a good grief prevention plugin that can allow players to claim there own land and protect it from flan's mod and a few of the others in this modpak ?

all these people saying its a great, server. It seemed that way when I got on. the admins helped me pretty quick even lots of people joining every second. right now though, everyone is complaining of lag. it may be that the allowed amount of players on at 1 time is too high? or just too many joining at 1 time.?

yea, ive seen this issue on other servers too, they care so much about getting votes so they can BUMP there server on votifier websites that they will either damge the economy by offer voters TONS of insanse cash , or other wild loot just to get them to vote. OR they will have chat constaly spam you until you vote. In my experience any server that uses voitifer to such an extent to get there server popular, is not worth playing on. I like chillaxs servers style. but I do wish he screened his admins more to ensure they were more friendly and inviteing. HIs hexxit server has similar issues. ( in my opnion anyway)

also, for anyone reading this... the featured skylands map will be avail to check out over the weekend. after sunday night, it will be remove from the server.

last nights game was played on our featured survival games map. Skylands by Ddogclaw. you can find it at survivalgames.com (or something like that) it was designed for vanilla. but we tweaked it and added in loot for hexxit!. it was a blast, though short lived since only 6 people joined it total. hopefully next time we can host on a wensday when more people seem to be on our server. Congrats to llop....(forget his full name) for winning last nights event. the winner got 4 hexxit diamonds and 500 cash. the losers got 2 hex essence and 200 cash just for playing. Our next hexxit hungergames will be at the end of march.

By the way , What is your shop plugin? Its really cool. I personaly was unfamiler with it. but the person who talked about the economy told me to give it that score. when I came on, I loved it. but ive never heard of it. or crew looks for being able to make our own shops at our homes or bases. that's why it was a C+ he wasn't sure you could do that at your own home. he was saying possibly you can only make shops or use shops at spawn? I don't know, im just relaying info. either way, I check it out and loved the plugin you were using. sign shop is really good too. but theres minor dupe issues with I understand for the 1.5.2 version. so we don't use sign shop. we use good ole fashioned chest shop. mainly cause it works with lockette. theres better shops out there. I think my team gave me a B for shops. cause theres no admin shops, and I have no info saying people can make there own shops, and I have no 'player mall' personally, I would not do a player mall, in my experience it causes major lag as your server grows. due to too many people buying and selling in one spot.

hey kaloy, yes, I run the horizon city server. but a few the people who recently joined our team barely ever come on my server. most aren't even in my friends list. 2 aren't members of our website either, 1 runs his own server. so everyone is from different places. we just now going public though. as a means to help eachother out more.The Goal is that server owners (includeing me) that are hosting public servers will take something positive from the feedback and improve there servers. were just starting to put a standard accorss the board of critriea to review or look for. each person in our review board as a patcicular thing that give them a strength in there review. one is really good about noticeing chat, and trust. ive been on his server. that dudes chat is awomse. way better than mine. im still tweaking mine to mimic his, cause it so great. another is good about noticeing paths. like how easy it easy to navigate. mainly, I look for is the server post matching up to what they say the offer? A-Gaming is a prime example. of why we needed to start doing this. the Owner Phoniex (you can read his posts) got really mad cause of the low score. this was not a byass score. several people went on his server over a 1 week period and spent time on his server. talking to regulars. exploring, seeing how his new reset was coming along...that kinda of thing. they found issues that they felt the community should know. for instance, he advertises minigames. but? ..where are they? he dosnt say anywhere in his server post that there coming soon...or under construction. when we spoke thru his fourm page, you can see him say..or rather imply..that he's not going to add them. there gone. then, later he says...'if I say im going to do something I do it.' so...he PLANS to add minigames..but there NOT there now. yet, his post says there useable NOW. that was my only point to him, stop lieing to the community. and his admins and pmods were apperntly there when our review teams were on, yet, when my team asked questions or wanted help. ...silence. so I gave his staff a low score. and he shot back that there there...busy DOing there job, making sure his 28 rules are followed and banning people that don't follow. so his staff is unfreidly. or rather. not talkative. that's no abad thing, but perhaps a person wants aserver with friendly staff and admins? anyway, were still growing and learning. were not trieng to step on toes. just want to help community make better chocies about what server is right for them. you seem like a very good person to know. I'd love to hear your thoughts or ideas further. we want to be a good review team for the community. good talking to ya, I look forward to see your server grow :)

im no longer replying to phoniex's non-sense rants on his server post as im not promoting views on his server. you can see from his constant chatter, that he has serious anger issues: on his posts he says: "We dont use multi-verse, why? Its a waste of resources. It hogs memory, cpu, and drastically lowers your TPS with many players online. Unless your going to bungeecord a server per world, using multiverse is a very stupid thing to do on a modded server. Multiverse was programmed and designed for BUKKIT servers. So they could host mini game worlds, dungeon worlds, creative worlds, etc. As for spawn killing? I got a solution for you: WORLD GUARD! ITS MAGICAL! And for our servers losing its popularity or players, my community has been alive for 3 years and counting and has thousands of people joining every month. You are just throwing a pebble at a bear and expecting it to care. I hope this is your last post, and double post of stupidity cause i really am sick of wasting my time replying to your nonsense. " ------------------------------------ sounds you need to get a better computer or host system. we use multiverse and it 'Hogs' little to no rescoruces. our TPS still runs very high. ushally around 17-20 TPS. which I great. no on on our server as yet to report lag due to server. an we've had peaks of 25 people on. when lag is reported and I check console. were running 18 or 19 TPS and were running low on CPU Usage and Nomral on Ram usage. with plently left to spare. as for spawnkilling? If WG protects sooo well from it, why do you have an added rule about it? cause there are still ways around with the hexxit mod. so if you have such good plugins, why not let them do there job and add no further burden to the player. Dosnt sound like its soo magical. I like how your worded yourself. very interesting. sooo, hexxit as been around for? about a year if I recall? I do reamber downloading when It came out I belive last year, and you have 1000's of people joining your server every month? wowo that's amazing, and how many or repeat players? our team,..which added to your player monthly figure this month was big group, yet we wont be coming back, do to your rudeness. so, your figures are high yes. but that says nothing about repeat players. I started my hexxit server in October. so yea, were a baby compared to you. but already we've conerd a stong base of happy REPEAT players. quite a few of the people that join my server have been around since its fledging days when we were getting our feet wet. can you say the same? an no, im no throwing the pebble at the bear...im thowing the pebble at the people reading this post hoping they'll notice your a bear and they shouldn't go near you. cause your an angry bear. hey Kaloy, we didn't not mean to sound rude in the review. it was not intent. its just something a few of us are doing to help eachother improve and be more of inviteing server. I cant wait for a crew to review our server. feedback is always welcome. the group deicded to stay annoynmus. though, someone has to post, so I took the lead in posting. Im learning myself, I hope that the next reviews wont come across as rude or mean. there not meant to be. we reveiwd orbitz. we like them too. but, the forum post was closed ..and lacking a lot of info. but there a good server to check out too rembear, this is just our small groups oppninin. this is not conclusive of the hexxit community as a whole. only our group of growing hexxit lovers.

Hey meowtwe, how are you, im sorry that you did not like our review. its something new were starting for fun. the review wasn't meant to upset you. yours was one our favorites too I gave your server some advertisement on our website. which as about 75 follows now and growing daily. looks like the post I made on our forum as gotten a lot of looks. so hopefully this as gotten some fresh blood and fanfare to your server. I think I listed it as 2ndplace of the 4 servers we check out this weekend. with only some minor tweaks, you could be a great server. yes we can ALL improve to be better hexxit servers. and I welcome any to come and check out my server to review it. all I ask is that you make sure its a group, and not just 1 person. when we reviewed over the weeknd it was about 8 people cruiseing and offering comments and thoughts on each server. im sorry, ? I don't understand ? I JUDGE players on my own server? how's that? could you enlighten me more please? you cant just say that without an example or its just bullcrap that your saying cause your mad. I now that I can improve as a server owner too. and I'd like to, but that coment is far to vaque to be of any good to me. and yes, we judge cause we want something better.! is that too much to ask? I could use improvements on my own server as well. this Is why I take constructive cristim and change. which is also why over the past 2 months we have made some major changes and tweaks to the server and configs to offer a better experience based on feedback from the community. which is also why we are now starting to grow by leaps and bounds since december. which is also why we've added admins postions (which we didn't have before) to help with server demands which is ASLO why we are working on adding new contact thru feburary and every month after. To give you 1 idea..... based on feedback from our community: people were annoyed that it was PvP only server...now we have PvE worlds...more people like our server.( I didn't tell people to go suck it.) People didn't like Rule 2 thought it was too vaque....now rule 2 is to the point. and offers protections from raids on main world....more people love our server. ( I didn't tell people to just deal with it) people wanted betterdungeons.....we found away to add them without crashing server.....done. ( I didn't tell people ...screw you) people wanted dim doors. ...we found away to add them without causeing lag or crashes...more people love server...( I didn't tell people..donor only..or suck it) people wanted a better help tutiroal.....done...we now have an ingame help option. ( I didn't tell people, grow up, shutup, and stop asking me all these questions...cause I don't have time for you, as server owner, you should ALWAYS MAKE TIME FOR LEGIT PLAYERS QUESTIONS) people wanted more of a challenge with dungeons and infernals.. done...configs are tweaked. ( didn't say, kill more, or screw you) also, player heads were dropping all the time for any way that a player died due to our configs. making trophy rooms a null idea.since player heads are pretty much a dime a dozen on our server. BUt, PVP'ers wanted a Trophy room... soo based on feedback.... we recently added A new plugin which will only cause heads to drop from PVP'ing. and the heads now say how the player died and with what weapon! the PVP'ers are loving this! it still being tweaked. but.....this was a player comment. we improved...more people like server.... people were wanting better hosted events, and minigames...?...we now offer automated spleef, lots of people love it. we are soon offering automated arenas with prizes and CTF with prizes. so more people can enjoy them without needing to be hosted all the time. so ya, were imporving our server based on comments and feedback. so we ALWAYS welcome constructive Compaints from anyone, that's how we fix, we grow, and we expand. im making this final point to you meow, it seems many are making servers just to make money, or get players so they can make money from 'donations' I did not have this plan when I built this server. I have money in the bank to keep this server going for as long as people are enjoying it. I do have 'donor' shop on our website yes, but if you take a look its really noting you cant get in the game with a little time and effort. even bedrock is avail at a location in the game. its the only shop admins persaonnly fill up. if you can find it, you can buy bedrock in game. to protect your base better. our donor shop is just for those that want to bring some personal fun for themselves or don't feel like takeing the time find that item they want so bad. for instance, we allow players to buy betterdungons bosses from our website. but, I've told admins spawn these things in for players that are bored and want some bosses to fight. we tweak and improve constantly. but its only from people like you grading us! so come one, get on our server and review us! I'd love to hear your feedback. uhm....just so long as its feedback and not just talking bull cause your mad at our review. mine was compiled from several peoples thoughts. not 1 person. were planning on doing these reviews every weekend, on random servers. hopefully, this will help us all to improve and become better server owners. are you the owner of server? our group reviews servers to see where a good place help the server to grow better. we want to have more servers to enjoy. these are simply annoyances that our team of reviewers found to be turn offs. if you don't like the review then... ok.. whatever. this is only our opnion of the server. I personally liked the server when I checked it out, the only thing I found needing improvement was chat. the other crew reviewing with my found other things, but you can take it or leave it. take the advice , and attract more people to your server. or leave the advice and attract less. whatever is your choice.

hey im getting same info. currently the server is down, though it says 24/7. our team of reviewers tried several times today. no website info given on whre to go to find more info on uptime. were ranking this server as an F right now. we'll check back later.

I like the spawn area. very open. our hexxit group as ranked your server in the following categories: 1) ease of navigation: A 2) ablites given to new players: B 3) RULES: B 4) greif prevention setup: B. Towny Is okay. but no lockette or LWC ? 5) Better Dungeons? Battletowers? B Unable to find out if there disabled or not. many server have to disable betterdungeons due to crashes. 6) Banned Items?: B they banned Flint and steel for some unknown reason? there website does not give reason. 7) website ease of use: C Server website apperes to be a tekkit lite webite. no info about hexxit server. appers to still be converting over from tekkitlite. forums page is lacking structure for various info. IE. random smack.gitches..bans...towny invitation area...things like that... 8) Friendly, Helpful staff?: No staff on at time of vist. will try back later 9) Ranks?:F ranks are all for tekkit lite. no info for donors who decide to support for hexxit yet. 10) Lastly, spawn build style: B flat. open. good easy design thugh..easy to leave. hard to get back in unless you do /spawn overall rating: B This server appers to be just now getting its feet wet. I like the world overall, needs amore indepth view. and time to test things like dim doors or twilight world or setting up a permament home. def worh checking out more.

You server is done? im afraid I must give it an F since you have to constay reset world to create better dungeons. or towers. meaning, cant make a permant home or build. so for that, our hexxit group as ranked you an F

You server as been given a 'C' rating by a our hexxit review team. you have a great spawn. but your lacking a lot. the random tp makes it hard to find friends after you leave spawn. that's my biggest complaint. next is, I have to pay to use /f map? really? that's just bad. you make your server too much to be pay to play. also, the chat. the constant chat pops up are annoying. and chat color, makes it hard to talk to people.? I give you in these catergories: Spawn: B nice build, good style. however, once you leve you random teleport, making finding friends very hard. you hve to tpa or tpahere a lot ease of navigation: B spawn is easy to naviagate. however, the portals to other worlds is hard to find or see no signs really direct new players to it very well. CHAT: C constant popups. can get very annoying. chat is grey.hard to see player comments, very easy to 'VOTE' pops up every few minutes. SHOPS: C+ unknown what shop plugin you use. however, it is cool. but, players cant make shops at there own base? spawn only? Factions setup: C cost to setup a faction is a little high. DONOR RANKS: F if you donate, you apper to be able to use things that normal players cant. making this pay to play? needs more research in this matter. TOTAL SCORE: C overall, the server is woth checking out, if they can fix chat. it would greatly improve server score.

easy way out is just to bann tinkers? wow, dude, just go into the configs file, look at tinker text config and set autosmelting and luck to =false. BAM. Done. now everyone can still enjoy tinkers. its an awesome mod.
