servers starting to get busier. made a few tweaks based on players feedback. for a limited time, players will be able to create a faction on the main world for only 100 coins. After the main world gets 2 full pages of factions with land. The price will go back up 750 coins. Main world is your safest place to build. :)

This is Bubble. welcome to his main world faction. No player is an island. But his faction is .... Your Adventure awaits .... (I killed his chocobo by accident when I did a killall command. the green one was a present for payment of killing his first one.)

This is the Story of BmxJake. BmxJake was a new player to our world. he came, he stayed 3 minutes, he raged. Here's why.... here, you can see Jake going into the Mob Battle Arena. With leather armor(starter kit) and a wooden sword (starter kit) at this point, sadly, Jake had not yet learned any shouts to be able to warp out of the battle arena...he didn't even look at the warp sign which would have taught him the shout to warp back the arena easy... here, jake is being chased by 3 zombies. with more on the way. Sadly, he died just after this pic was taken of a spider bite. This is the last we ever saw of poor jake. He rage'd quit. and most likely will not return. The moral of the story? Battle towers and Battle Arenas, are not for the ill prepared. This is Jakes. Story. What will be yours?

Spleef Battle begins tonight at 630pm central. (30 minutes from the time of this post.) It will be held in 2 parts. as many people that one to join can join for the event. but only 4 will actually be able to make into the arena.... there maybe a death duel based on how things turn out too. 1st prize will get a dimoand key to unlock one of rare loot chests. 2nd place will get 100 bucks 3rd will get 50. 4th will get 25.00 all other particpants will recive a cash prize just for showing up and playing. One of our new players to the world. his design is really good. this is a perfect example of how to build in the main world. no worries of greif. However, this is also a perfect example of how NOT to build in the PVP world. before too long, I expact this base will be raided hard. ]

Just added a fun new game. on the Main World I call it: DMC (Destroy My Castle) Once you find the DMC faction (located near the battletower arena. Enemy the DMC faction.(5,000 dollars to enemy on main world) But once you do that, you can attack the castle as it lvls up and gets harder. Right now, its at lvl. 1 the loot is minor. but, with each lvl it will expand and get harder, you will find better loot. kind of like a better dungeon. But caslte. COME AT ME BRO! Just a small note, this is also a PVP zone, meaning other players can attack your here too. Including your own faction members. No power is lost though.

as much as I'd love to put in an application, Its a full time job takeing care of my server. I host events on Fridays as well as do a few speacile hidden loot chests in the PVP world...plus building mazes and parkour challenges for the FunCo world. good luck in your endeavours. ill come check out your sever later this evening.

im just bumping this up real quick so people can see that post just under this one "**BestServers hexxit**" is a straight rip off of this servers info. DONT GO ON **BESTSERVERS HEXXIT it looks as if he setup the account just to steal peoples IP addresses.

I don't know if you realized, but the server info is a straight COPY of **hexxit** servers post. the only thing he changed was the last few lines of the SERVER RULES section. meaning, this is probably a cracked or copied server. and should be removed anyway, since hes more than likely only using the server to get players IP addresses. I would recommend NOT TO GO ON THIS SERVER.

yeah, I agree. he obviously dosnt want anyone to come on his server ...AT ALL. I was going to check it out myself. but after this post. it pretty obvious that he's a dick. which means, that he dosnt care about anyone that joins his server. it's prob. just a troll server. or owned by a newbie server. Grow up [NOT]BestServers and learn how to treat potential players better and maybe your server will do better.

The Hidden Keys Can now be used! If you find a Clay pot in the PVP world, break it and you might get a key. use it near the /spawn on the main world and you can get some less common items and other uncraftable loot to have fun with. 2 of them have the spawn eggs for pirates from the better dungeons mod. place em down and have fun being attacked. or drop em on an enemy to distract em. they where gold and iron armor so there harder to kill.

seems like a lot of trouble for the admins though, you should expand on the no greifing policy so players understand..no greifing SPAWN or no greifin on a certain world. But Greifing is allowed if you war with a faction. that's not explained very clearly and and mislead players. I run a server as well with factions. what i did was set up the perms so that leaders cant change them, and used multiverse to separate it..so you can have a faction in two different worlds with completey different setups. works really well. players build a permanent base is the main world, and then go to the PVP world and make a faction there and blow up bases and fight eachother. i can try and help you out if you ever wanna setup your server like that.

Upgraded the server, more slots open. Im working on changing the layout of the hidden keys room. So, if you find a silver key while exploreing the PVP world, just hold onto until it reopens near spawn.

okay, sorry guys. I realize a lot of players have tried to join but were having problems not being able to move. I belive it was a conflict with the Nocheat+ plugin and the PEX plugin. I think I've fixed it. So you should be able to log in and play on the server without be kicked for flying.

Right now im running on 2Gb's of RAM it shows I have a full GB available. but im noticeing a lot of CPU usage with the new players joining up now. If theres any issues with lag, please let me know either thru here or the website hooptiesworld.enjin.com and I will upgrade server. to the unlimited plan. which will allow more RAM and unlimited amount of players.

' what storage crates are your referring to? what is the item id? how do they dupe. if its the one you can stack in any kind of way. I tried several times to dupe on my own server, and I couldn't. is it because im admin so I can dupe? I like the storage crates, so i'd like to keep. could you explain the dupe process so I can test out..maybe the fixed in 1.0.10? Also the "bag" dupe seems to be fixed. I knw about that one. and cant seem to get it to work. You also want to add Emprore's chalice. it bypasses protections and greifs spawn with infinite water.(people don't need it anyway..) as for the gun..just use either Factions or worldguard and turn of TNT or explosions. I use factions and turned off Explosions for safezone areas. and the gun as no effect. but it works good for people who are trieing to raid on the PVP world I have setup. It just does nothing on the Main world I have setup. you should consider re-wording the info about the gun...its a fun gun Also, I found a work around for the bettedungeons crashing servers.... Disable in MCPC.yml file. then...manually place ploppable plans while in createive in various places. and it works fine. makes it so people can still enjoy the dungeons mod and get the rare loot...but wont crash your server. Consider NOT setting the Config for betterdungeons to anything lower the 450 it will cause extreme lag. and waaayyyy to many dungeons all over the place. making it far to easy to get epic loot.

funny thing is, when you watch the server command screen as it loads up hexxit. you will see it say something like Thaumcraft item ....missing... skipping lines....thaumcraft blah blah...not loaded. Maybe they intended to use it at one point, so its in the code somehow...somewhere. but then it was removed due to conflicts or making hexxit to OP like the other guy said?

Have you heard of the essentials plugin? its very nice. it has TONS of /commands that will greatly improve your server. down essentials then, do /killall It will kill all entites within several chunks of you.

its matrix stuff. basically , lines of coding not doing what it was supposed to do. Or something like that. it could have been it was supposed to be a meteor. but instead the code that should have given a meteor. formed something from the betterdungeons mod.?. I haven't seen this yet, so im not sure what mod its from. crazy looking that's for sure.

Too many rules for my taste. Im afraid if I kill the wrong mob...or go in the wrong direction.or PVP someone (which hexxit is designed for) ill get banned. You should try mine. it offers pvp or non-pvp setups depending on if you want to raid or make friends.

Only catch is one of the rules is NO GREIFING. so, if you get attacked you can call foul play and say "I WAS GREIFED" which takes away from the REAL fun of the MOD. I like this server, but faction wars is the best part of Hexxit and FACTIONS plugin. Use towny or Worldguard or something instaed of Factions. By using factions the server is saying...come war and greif eachother...but the rules say: NO GREIFING.
