  1. You can't connect pipes directly to a hopper, since the pipes doesn't have an "inventory". You need to connect the hopper to a storage first (a chest for example), then connect the chest with log pipes chassis or an import bus. If you are running an ME network, you can also directly connect the hopper to an ME interface. If you need for a method for automatically collecting eggs from your farm and directly into your ME network, you could always used ME transition pane for your farm's floor.
  2. I feel sorry for you. I dunno the specific details about AS in 1.2.x as they were still in testing phase. Someone said in the thread that if you put the fluiducts first and then the steam funnel second, it will work. If you put it in the reverse order, the fluiducts will say that it has steam in it, but it won't extract it. I'm not too sure on this though, you might wanna check on the 1.2.4 thread later. I know
  3. You can do that with ender storage (pouch and/or chest) and BC gates.
  4. There's a few weird interactions between fluiducts and steam funnel in 1.2.2. It isn't stable yet, so.. yeah..
  5. I must've missed that. I don't think it matters though, since the only thing that can produce steam that I know of is only RC's steam boiler and AS' reactor. But then again, I might be wrong.
  6. In 1.1.10, you gotta use your wrench to set your liquiduct to extract mode, then power it with a redstone signal. Maybe that's what you are missing. Then you are doing something wrong. Posts your setup here and maybe we can figure something out, but blaming the mods when it works for the others is not the way to go. Are you sure you are running tekkit 1.1.10? Because AFAIK, tekkit 1.1.10 doesn't have heavy aluminium wire nor solar panels/arrays. Your picture in the spreadsheet is not per layer and that makes things even more confusing (based on your picture, the glass is one layer above the electromagnet at the top). But I think I get a rough idea of what's happening. Your fusion reactor only have 4x4 spaces for the plasma to run into, making only 10x4 electromagnet that's effective. A big turbine requires steam from 9 block of boiling water to run at full speed, and not a single one of your turbine is receiving that amount of steam. That's why the one that's spinning is only the one in the middle cross-line, because the rest of the water is not boiling.
  7. AFAIK, the steam engine from TE3 accept water and solid fuel(wood, coal, etc) and generate RF. It doesn't necessarily accept steam as an input. Unless I misunderstood your sentences.
  8. Have you tried this one? The 3x3 setup in the #1 post is the most compact setup I've ever seen. It's expandable and tileable. It's the current setup that I'm using for my liquid storage and I knew that a few others are also using this same setup.
  9. Are you asking for the setup of the LM itself or are you asking how to use it? If you don't need the lava, you can just pump it and then void the lava using void waterproof pipe.
  10. 1. Fluiducts not being able to extract steam from steam funnels is a known issue on the 1.2.x version of tekkit (hence the beta build, if you know what "beta" means). Ranting about stuff that doesn't work when you are playing a version that is not stable is just fucking retarded. 2. Fluiducts or liquiducts were never able to extract steam directly from the boiling water. Gets your facts right first. 3. Do your homework or research first before you rants here. I don't want to be rude, but a guy gave you a link on how to setup a fusion reactor (even with step-by-step pic) and you simply dismissed it by saying it has way too much text. Yet you are complaining that the fusion reactor isn't working for you. Yeah, sure, you've tried it extensively. All of us here that can manage to build one must be either liars or idiots. You need to either become less ignorant or just get lost.
  11. I don't get what you are trying to say. Are you trying to say that atomic science is useless? or what? Because it seems to me that's what you are implying here. I think it's a well known fact that the choice of power source is kinda limited (mainly biofuel / fusion reactor for high-end setup), but I don't think it's nerfed at all. If any, biofuel is OP. A 4x4x4 setup with 24 Biofuel generator can easily power your AE network (and still having a surplus of ~100 MJ/t), and you could probably make it more efficient/compact if you don't care about aesthetics.
  12. If you don't even have a steady amount of power supply for your AE network, then you can just forget about making yourself a fusion reactor. As for your storage system, use DSUs and storage buses. That's your clue right there. You shouldn't need that much 64k storage drives even if you pre-formatted them. Also, MJ stands for Minecraft Joules not Mega Joules. 1 reactor turbine (small one) gives you 2.25MJ/t and you just multiply it by 9 for the big one. With that being said, you can still make a biofuel power plant that can generate as much power as a fusion reactor could generate. My biofuel power plant can generate about ~2.2k MJ/t on demand.
  13. Your best bet would be creating a biofuel power plant. It has a fairly simple setup. You just need to supply it with some saplings (incl. carrot, potato, ink sacs, cactus green) and power at first. Once you get it running, you can fully automate it
  14. Seems like one of your world files is corrupt, which is most likely going to be your level.dat. One of the solution I've heard is to replace the level.dat with level.dat_old in your world file. Another one is to make a completely new world and move your old files to the new world folder. If it works, worst case scenario is that you would probably lose all your inventory in your character. Honestly though... You would probably getting more solution "googling" rather than posting here really. I've made a habit of making a copy of my world file on my server everytime I turned the server off. You never know what may happen to your computer or MC, especially when you are adding your own mod and/or plugins.
  15. So I did some testing myself and the result is, to be honest, quite unexpected.. Anyway, I'll just share it here in case it helps someone else. Note: to make it easier for myself, 1 sewage tick (ST) = 1.5s Based on my testing, it seems that both liquiduct and golden waterproof pipe can output all 1k mB in a sewer before the next ST starts to kick in. I also tested how many cows (or sheeps) can a sewer handle in one ST, and the result is 26.7 mB/cow every ST (26 rounded down, which is the same with wiki). Also, contradictory to the popular belief that one sewer can only handle up to 24 cows, a sewer can handle up to 37.4 cows or 38 rounded up. Putting 37 cows to one sewer will net you 987 mb sewage per ST (which is close to the 26.7 * 37 = 987.9 calculation). Which leads us to our question; how many composter can a sewer handle (or simply put, the sewer : composter ratio)? To do this, I do "x" numbers of cows hole (38 cows per hole) into liquiducts that connects to "Y" number of composter. First, I do 1:1, 1:2, 2:3 for the X:Y ratio. For 1:1, the sewage keeps pilling up in the composter (more income than usage). So I went with 1:2 and see that the income can't keep up with the usage(less income than usage). When I increased the ratio to 2:3, there is a small gain per ST that keeps accumulating in the composter (still more income than usage). By going with the 3:5 ratio, I could see that the usage is still slightly higher than the income (but with very little difference). I thought it was good or optimal enough and just went with it.
