I personally would use MFFS with the water remover upgrade. Just use area projectors on sphere mode, build your factory, then collapse the shield. All the water stays on the outside, and you have a nice factory space on the inside.

Personaly, I keep buildcraft enabled only for the ability of new players to build basic logic systems. To counteract item drops, I use a plugin that deleates entitys in loaded chunks every 5 minutes, or when there is a excess of 200 entitys in a chunk.

Try to connect to another server. The error is that theres no sever thats responding to your clients ping request on the other end of that IP, but it keeps trying, then sends a timeout msg.

Congrats, you broke the applescript codeing. The action "run applescript" is the action in the workflow that makes the launcher check for a update when its launching. If you broke that, its quight early in the workflow, so somthing is screwed up inside the applescript. TL;DR redownload your launcher.

Do this cmd in your command prompt: java -Xmx2G -Xms1G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui

I fail to see the validity of that post chafeross1. Also, somthing I found out, singleclick on your launcher, them press command+i and scroll down to general and check "open in 32-bit mode" then check "open useing rosetta" (in that order). It may be that the launchers automator application file is rosetta file system dependant, that should fix it. Im going to take a wild guess and say you had this problum starting after you updated to OS-X lion (the verson they dumped the rosetta file system).

Download the latest launcher from the website, then come back and post what happens.

I managed to get to the easter egg on the moon, that arch thing, and then promply ram my rocket going about 500 km a hour into it.... ya, it didnt go that good. About the powder toy, IKR, almost nobody plays it, as most people come on and are suddenly daunted by its complexity. Its like technic in the way it appeals to the same people I have found out.
