  1. inside: basement machine room: basement emerald farm/ tinkers construct: I Love the building potential of this ModPack. I fear its ruined me for vanilla. Great builds. I understand the feeling of maybe vanilla being ruined for me haha. I logged onto a factions server i used to play and was like, "how do i fly up there to place some blocks?!" haha
  2. Actually, now that I think about it, one of the guys on my server has had this problem. I'm not sure if it was in his thermal expansion/minefactory section, but I definitely recall several chunks of his base being deleted. I'm not sure if it was on the moon or mars or what, but somewhere in space lol.
  3. Nevermind, I guess the fact that I'm looking at nothing is the problem haha. Man, that sucks. I'm sorry to see that
  4. What am I looking at? Sorry, I just don't see what's wrong
  5. ahhhh, i tried that. But I put the berries in the first slot haha. Thank you!
  6. loader, i'm sure you know how to do this. instead of this whole system, what if i want something to "pick" the berries for me but store them until i come and get them all. As of now, when i put the autonomous activator down it picks them but then uses the xp. Is there a way to change it, or perhaps another machine?
  7. gotcha. If you're setting up a tree farm i made a quick build you might be interested in if you want to turn it into a "power plant" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6xp7ii7cK4
  8. Okay, thanks. As much as i've played this modpack i didn't realize that those stained trees dropped stained saplings haha I figured it was just oak saplings. Thanks!
  9. okay, so you used the transfer pipes, and at the end you used a routed interface pipe i'm guessing? With an item responder chip whitelisted to whatever you want destroyed? I didn't realize that you could make those pipes "open ended" i guess you could call it.
  10. I saw you can dye saplings, but what does that do? Can you plant the dyed saplings and when you break the tree, do dyes or dyed saplings fall?
  11. I just posted a reply to something similar. You may be able to do this with the help of a few mods. Look into the cursor from open blocks. Basically you can take an action such as accessing a chest, opening a door, etc, and do it anywhere in the world in exchange for xp. I haven't completely figured it out, as there doesn't seem to be much help on the mod on the internet. However, I'm thinking you could shift+right click onto the routed request pipe with the cursor, therefore being able to access the items anywhere in the world. Now, with the range of the items being spit out everywhere, put a bunch of hoppers in the area, leading into a chest, and then into the tesseract. (i'm not sure, you may be able to take the hoppers straight into the tesseract, i haven't messed with it yet) So, using that setup, you may be able to achieve what you're looking for.
  12. I didn't realize you could color 8 wool with one dye, thanks. this definitely helps out.
  13. Loader, what do you use your nether stars for? I guess i somewhat farm them using wither skeletons in an auto spawner, however that doesn't seem very post end game lol. That's just my opinion obviously seeing how i've mostly been messing with minefactory and thermal expansion. But just wondering what you use nether stars for?
  14. Just thinking about this makes me wonder if you could use the cursor on the routed request pipe. Then, using hoppers and that player interface/inventory thing generikb had in one of his videos, you could request an item with the cursor and have it pop out into a hopper into the player interface, therefore putting the item(s) in your inventory maybe?
  15. I have found that the cursor from openblocks may help this. The cursor lets you take an action such as opening a chest, ringing a doorbell, pressing a button, etc, and allows you to do it anywhere in the world in exchange for xp. It's kind of buggy and haven't figured it all out. Basically, what I've found is you shift click the "action" you want to do (shift+right click a chest) and then right click the cursor and it allows you to access the chest. I don't think it's your best option, however, it may suffice for now. Hope that helps maybe lol.
  16. I need to start doing it more. I always say, "oh, i can cover that up with microblocks later" but, i never get around to it lol. Everything is always such a work in progress that I never know what's actually going to stay or move.
  17. It seems to be off and on for me. I believe that sometimes when it doesn't happen, I've just cut all the wood so it's not touching the ground and then take another swing at it and I've brought the whole thing down. Also, in the sacred saplings (i believe) biome with the huge trees, I've brought it all down in one hit. So, i don't understand the exact process of the lumber axe.
  18. How did you get them to get tossed into a lava pool? From what I've found, when the item reaches the end of the pipe, it just returns and bounces back and forth, it doesnt actually come out of the end of the transport pipe. I've been needing some kind of void pipe or chest or something. I've got several skeleton spawners i afk to collect mob essence and a system of like 20 chests so it doesn't back up, however, I would rather just sort it so everything but miniature hearts just gets destroyed (or dumped in lava).
  19. I've had it happen before. I've fixed it before with relogging. Also, I've fixed it before by dumping them all from the faucet into portable tanks and then put it back in the smeltry. It's happened to me quite a few times and it seems to happen when you have a bunch of different liquids inside (which it looks like you do).
  20. hit "e" to open your inventory and click the "options" button in the bottom left i think it is. Click on the "inventory" tab and turn it from "cheat mode" to "recipe mode"
  21. When it auto smelts the logs into charcoal its the same as doing it in a furnace. So when it smelts 4000+ logs it drops a good bit of xp.
  22. Yeah, I used the hoppers when i needed them to go into the machines because i know they work. I'm not entirely sure about the thermal expansion and project red pipes and if they are compatible, I didn't try them out together plus it would require more chips and in single player those chips can get pretty resource intensive. Also, I was just trying to get the video done and I knew the hoppers would be easier and something most MC players know how to do and how they work. Hope it helped you out.
  23. I've done this at one of the huge tree biomes (I think it's like bushes or sacred saplings or something like that) and I hit it once at the bottom and then entire tree came down along with like 130 levels of xp. The amount of lag was ridiculous for about 15 seconds lol.
