  1. Oh derp, didn't saw that category, sorry
  2. I have this mod THX Helicopter that I really want to add to my Tekkit client (and if it works, possibly even server). The problem here is, it crashes my tekkit as soon as it launches or gets into the main menu. Installing ModLoader for v1.6.x doesn't help. It MIGHT be the mod version to blame, v1.6.1. There's unfortunately no newer version, because the modder probably abandoned it. I am looking for a way, ANY way of making it work with Tekkit. I really like the mod, and I want my friends to enjoy it too while building spaceports and making automatic apple farms. Any (useful) help is greatly appreciated. (other forms of help is appreciated too)
  3. Okay, DimDoors again. Seems like someone has to fix the problem already. Problem fixed, just deleted DimensionalDoors from the world folder.
  4. The IDs might be conflicting. I suspect that you have PowerArmors mod installed. Also, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with Tekkit. Just saying.
  5. Backup your world, delete the .technic folder and open the Technic Platform.exe. Basically reinstalling Technic. Beware that you will also lose work on other modpacks, unless you also backup those.

  7. On the very first rows of the crash log it is very clear that Java ran out of memory. Try increasing your memory allocation to 1.5GB.
  8. If you got a 32bit Windows, then the problem is that you allocated 3GB of RAM for the server. The server can't start up because those 3GB aren't available. Say you got 4GB of RAM installed (the maximum for a 32bit system, for more you'll need 64bit), where 0.5GB is used by hardware and ~1.5GB for system and other programs, and you got only 2GB left. You can clearly see that you need 1GB more RAM to host that server. Unless, you right-click the server.bat file, click Edit and instead of Xmx3GB and Xms2GB type in, say, Xmx1024M and Xms512M. This way the server is restricted to a maximum memory usage of 1GB. Lowering it even more might cause the server to crash/lag because of not enough memory. If you have little RAM installed (1-2GB) then there's really no solution other than buy more RAM and, optionally, get a 64bit Windows (64bit systems only work if you got a 64bit architecture CPU/processor) if you really want to pimp up your RAM.
  9. So for DDR3 it supports speeds up to 1600MHz, and memory of max 8GB. I might not be entirely right.
  10. My Tekkit server has been acting weird lately. I was casually playing on it, then power went out. Later, attempting to start the server, gives me a crash, which appears to be related to the DimDoors dungeon handler or something like that. The thing that makes me think its the world is because replacing the current one with a new world folder made the server be back up again. I've currently tried: replacing the level.dat file with a fresh one, deleting all player data, deleting the nether dimension (because I've been in the nether when the power went out). I am not really sure what's happening and I need help ASAP. I've attached the latest crash log. crash-2015-08-04_09.45.16-server.txt
  11. The weirder thing here is that my Tekkit server, with the same mem allocated as on the B-Team server, and the Tekkit client 2GB allocated too, I could play one of my "home-made" Counter Strike with some of my friends without any interferences. I do have crappy computer, but I think it is too crappy, also parents might be interfering again (as always). It's easier to just install more RAM, 'cause I need it anyways. My RAM sticks aren't going so well togheder, so I'll do a quick search on E-Bay or other second-hand website (for cheapness sake). I found 4GB DDR-2 stick with a clock of 800MHz, with ten dollars. Worth the price, but not the performance.
  12. Yes, I am running everything on the same machine.
  13. I am currently experiencing the so called "Internal server error" thing whenever I connect to my Attack of the B-Team private server. Server starts up fine, logging in fine, but after a minute or so it kicks me, then "Internal server error" thing pops up. Reattempting connection doesn't work because the client apparently can't connect to my server (locally hosted), therefore a server restart is required. Server doesn't appear to display any message related to this error. (see edit) I have had the "Press any key to continue" error with the server console / .bat file previously, which I fixed by replacing the server's mods folder with the one in the .technic/modpacks/attackofthebteam folder. Server has memory allocation of exactly 1GB, while the client has memory allocation of 2GB. Other players connect via Hamachi. I have 4GB of RAM installed, where only 3.5GB usable. I also have Skype and Chrome usually opened up, but still despite this the memory usage never gets higher than ~3.2GB (strangely). Help is greatly appreciated, thx in advance. EDIT: The server console actually appears to display some "end of stream [insert IP here]" messages, around the time I get kicked.
  14. Sorry if posted in wrong section, couldn't find a proper one for this type of topic
  15. Hello, I am looking for someone to play with me on a private server, mostly because I got sick of public servers where you always get harassed, griefed, etc. and singleplayer where you ask yourself "what am I doing with my life". I am very communicative, mature for my age (13, please don't judge me) to be honest, but sometimes tend to talk a lot. I try to correct my mistakes. I have a 2-year Tekkit experience, I know a bit of Lua coding but I still need to understand Logistics Pipes. Skype or Teamspeak 3 (or server chat :P) for communication. Sorry for so many "I"s. I'M (again, sorry) bad at textmaking.
  16. name: Akkupack age: 13 reason: i like cooperation, usually in games i love, public servers and singleplayer got boring for me i got 2-year tekkit experience, and i am pretty mature for my age to be honest, however i have a tendency to talk a lot. i'll always try to correct my mistakes.
  17. Age: 12 Username: Akkupack Location: Romania Why do i want to play on this server? I LOVE Galacticraft, and on multiplayer makes more fun (space stations!). Thank you for making this friendly community, else i would just stick to my creative SSP world. EDIT: A creative world should be added probably?
  18. Hi there! I just want to know if there's a possible way of transferring Fuel Canisters from Galacticraft to BC Tanks without me doing it manually (and viceversa). I just want to use the fancier way of transporting fuel to my Moon and Mars bases using cargo rockets but I can't put Fuel from a BC Tank into a canister and viceversa. If there is anyone to help me, well, thanks. PS: I am in creative mode
