What version of java is the server your using? If it is a different version of java like openjdk it may cause issues.

Hmm what it could be is an hamchi update changing how things work i know there have been a few fairly recently anyhow. Are you using the ip hamchi is giving you? and is that IP in your server preferences listed as the IP for the server? Also a firewall reference hamachi may be being blocked by the firewall check your antivirus in case it is and unblock it if its the case. Also tekkit is memory hungry if there isn't enough memory to feed the beast then it wont start. Ahh is your friend on the hamchi network as a listed user and does he have hamachi open when joining? Is the on the same version as your server? Are you on the same version as the server? Is there a issue or a glitch causing the server not to boot up or kick clients off when joining? Is there an issue with his network joining yours or an issue with his client stopping him from joining you. So many things could be wrong more detail is needed.

Interesting i think i understand what is causing it, your files are not being read. Or there not there to begin with your missing the .jar of almost all the mods. As well the obrefuscator is causing some serious issues on the scene as listed above i recommend removing it. Also check your firewall settings in case there are messing with things. Also how are you downloading the file? I have heard tales of .zips being downloaded incorrectly down to how the browser takes in the file. What you should be doing as you are local hosting this server, is getting the zip opening it with winrar/ 7 zip and extracting it to a premade folder on your desktop from there hit the launcher and your away. That is for a clean install i cannot think why it would mess up. Also i know you said you reinstalled java correct? Get a fresh one before you start the process. Could you get me some more info if this doesn't work this interests me. So more details = better solving the issue.

Yes as the above has stated a known bug it maybe fixed it may not in the near future. For example solars will turn upside down but the will still provide energy as such. So nothing major at stake just graphics.

In your hamachi client, there is an ip in the hamachi application give that to your friends. Also go into system files and go into i think its server properties and open it in notepad or something and edit the ip setting this may be blank FYI and imput the hamachi one. Then restart the server and give it another go.

Erm what a bushy beard you have. So moving on have you made sure that the power out put the way the power is going into the system is correct. Also dunno if this is the case but try an MFE or an MFSU? Also before posting check that you are doing stuff right by checking out the IC2 wiki as if its something so simple then it can save people's time. Also as a side note use glass fibre instead of extra thick as that wastes energy where as the glass fiber is more efficient.

Thats what tends to occur your fine one day then.....bam! it occurs stuff in life happens and there is not normally a lot you can do about it.

Hmm it maybe a bug in the java code that is causing this error, uninstall your java version and get a clean one from the oracle website were it may have a fix to your issue or feature new updates or there maybe an issue with tekkit that causes a issue with it. But if this was the case im sure alot more people would have this issue and coming forward with it.

hehe nice sinister comment above, are you sure that the server your trying to join is the same version your using or your mods are just playing up but normally clearing your cache and a fresh install is the way to go about things.

This looks like an client error reinstall your client and delete the folder data from %appdata% and do a fresh clean install. Its possible that the launcher has some corrupted parts in so a clean install may fix it.

Try getting a clean sweep of everything, 3.1.3 is out currently try that and try getting a different version of essentials either a bit earlier or a bit later you will often find that people report bugs and they get fixed now and again so its always good. Also since ive noticed your running on local host, make sure your running the lasted version of Java 7 or get java 7 if you don't as a load of mods support it. As it states base mod is unable to load therefore the server cannot start indicating that the feature that loads the mods is either not there or not available.

Erm try the /nick (name wanted) for a different name but this is only a nickname and has no real reference on your ign. This feature is available if you download essentials plugin. Or you could try deleting your player data in the system files if an error has occurred with it it may generate a clean fresh file.

Do you use a permission system like PermissionEx or any other sometimes they can interfere with the crafting of tekkit items for example on PermissionEx if i made a mistake however small if wouldn't allow the crafting of tekkit items just they way you have described it. So check that your plugins are not interfering with the game as this maybe the case.

Er-ugh this isn't good with modify world it disables quarry's for me stopping them working? oping quarry's allows them to destroy protected area so i cannot win. People complain either way oh the joy

Hey there for help paste this into the bottom of your config file in modify world use-material-names: false drop-restricted-item: false item-use-check: false Then is will work if you have done the permission nodes right on tekkit and made sure you have used ID: number ID not names. If you used names then set use material names to true Simples :)
