  2. Meh. Honestly I have like 10 stacks of RM sitting around rotting... I think I can spare two klein omegas for a alchemical tome if I need to. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Are you that dense? Can you not read? He just said he wants it to run continuously. A Rube Goldberg Machine implies that an action must be taken in order to trigger the chain reaction that completes whatever action, which he DOESN'T want to do. *sigh* Digressing though... consider something involving Red Power or Buildcraft pipes, maybe a machine that mass produces Nano Armor or if you feel up to it, Quantum Armor? Usually some form of expensive mass production does it for me.

    Anywho, ICBMs.... The only way I can see this working is if there is a separate world set aside for ICBM "battles" and such which is reset every other day or something. (that means when the fight is over, you have to remove all your equipment or make it again)

    Hm, true... although I thought interdiction torches were pretty harmless compared to per say, the hyperkinetic lens or RM tools. I also thought you might have been talking about Technic and not Tekkit. In that case though, getting a pedestal should be no problem WHATSOEVER, a full v3 EE collector flower will generate about a stack of DM overnight (irl overnight, not a minecraft night ).

    Well, once you get an EE flower or eight going, they really aren't that expensive. Also, I would like to tell you a lil something I like to call interdiction torches.

  9. EE2 stuff is particularly buggy in 3.1.2. Hell, a lot of 3.1.2 is buggy. You might need a fuel source in your inventory if you want to use items like those.
  10. Yup, That worked. Just click options, click clear cache, and switch to the build you need!

    AAAAAAAA What is this! Sorry, needed to get that out. There are way too many problems with this. First off: Law of Stickies) Read 'em! Launcher bugs don't belong here. Next, This isn't exactly a bug...unless the issue is a PEBKAC. To answer your question, The launcher has Technic, Tekkit, Voxel, Hackn'Slash, and the YogBox as well as Vanilla Minecraft. Its one launcher for ALL the mod packs.

Title: Not all mods loading Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 Java Version: Irrelevant to issue Description of Problem: When I try to log into a server, I am given an error report saying that I am missing mods required to join a server and throws a list of some of the mods on Tekkit at me (listed below). I've deleted everything (as in down to the .techniclauncher folder) and re-installed the launcher and Tekkit but still receive the same message. Error Messages: The server requires you to have the following mods: mod_IC2 v1.95 mod_CraftingTableIII (Beta1.8, MC1.2.5) mod_EE 1.4.5.1 mod_ImmibisCore 48.2.1 mod_IronChest 3.3 mod_Railcraft 5.2.4 mod_IC2NuclearControl v1.1.6 mod_TubeStuff 48.2.1 mod_CompactSolars 2.2 Error Log: N/A

    I can quickly see that this will be the end of all Tekkit worlds ever should it be included. But it does look like a really well made mod, I do actually want to play around with it :P
  16. Did you just try following the tree it gave you? If the texture pack folder isn't there, pull out any save folders you want and delete everything else and reinstall it. The best way to get to the .techniclauncher folder is to go to Run: and enter "%appdata%" without the quotation marks. From there, you should be able to find .techniclauncher
  17. Yeah, Copper cable really isn't suited for low voltage stuff, due to the fact that you loose 1 EU per 4 copper wire. Either switch to tin wires (-1 EU per 40 wires, But can only handle really low voltages), upgrade your cables, or move your bat box closer.
  18. Instead of Exploding bees, perhaps... exploding Redstone engines? (when they hit the green or yellow phase)

I meant it more of a simpler way to have forge mods be compatible, Instead of a mod needing to be both Morge and Modloader compatible, It just needs to be compatible with FML alone instead of building in compatibility for a mod and an API. I digress though, this thread is about clever and not well known mods and not the methods of installing mods.

  21. Well, Technic uses the Forge API to run all the mods and the Dust mod uses Forge (You would know this if you had read the mod page that I linked). Common sense tells me yes, it would work. but I have no way of making sure except by trying. That also brings me to something else, there is now FML (no, not F$%@ my life) or Forge Mod Loader, which sort of lumps the two together in an easier to install/use way. Is this going to change Technic significantly? Will this be the godsend to updating Technic?

  23. Yeah, you can use an iron engine (I can never remember what they're called) to burn lava if you want, it accepts lava, oil, or fuel. Just make sure you pump in water too to keep it from overheating.
  24. I was never a fan of the grey goo mod, but the physics engine looks fun! On the topic of not very well known mods, I find this one VERY interesting. It's called The Runic Dust Mod. Within the mod using various runic dusts and carvings, you make runes with various effects. Right now though the mod is a WIP, but still very impressive in its functionality and has 46 different runes you can make and the developer is making more to add to the mod.
